About Geordie BulliesWelcome to Geordie Bullies! Thank you for visiting our website and wanting to learn more about us. Geordie Bullies is a breed Specific English bulldog rescue from the UK. The rescue was founded by Helen Seymour and Clair Knox both from Newcastle who both are very passionate about the breed we know and love. The charity was formed in 2016 when Helen and Clair recognized that there was a huge amount of bulldogs being sold or given away due to breed related issues, those being used as a commodity and were at risk.
The charity at present has over 90 volunteers/fosters around the UK. We are a non profit organization and rely solely on donations from the public to rescue and rehabilitate the bulldogs in our care. We only use foster homes for our bully babies. Every bulldog that arrives with us is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed and micro-chipped before it is re-homed.
All homes are home checked prior to re-homing and all our bulldogs have a re-homing fee. This fee goes back into the fund to rescue another. To date we have re-homed over 130 dogs for a wide variety of reasons. This has been down to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, without whom the charity couldn’t do what it does.
If you would like to get involved and help out in some way please fill in our Volunteer application form found in our Volunteer section. If you would like adopt one of our bulldogs, then please look through the ‘Our Dogs’ pages there you will see the dogs currently in foster and those whom are ready for adoption.
If you have any questions about the charity, or you would like our help with your bulldog, then please feel free to get in touch via the contact page. If you know of a bulldog at risk please contact us and we will do our best to help. Or if you would like to donate you will find all the ways to do this in our donation section.
