A BIT ABOUT ME:
Personality:
Bo is typically bulldog, stubborn but loving and affectionate to dogs and her humans.
Bo loves her people and thrives on physical affection and will seek you for attention. She loves to be the centre of attention.
Bo will also seek the company of a calm dog in the home.
Behaviour:
Bo has had very little training in her life prior to GBSR, however she is a foodie and will respond to any positive reinforcement where food is used as an incentive.
Bo loves a game of bitey face with the resident dog but can become overstimulated and can be a bit rough. Because of this it’s not encouraged, however there is no malice in her play.
Needs:
Bo needs a calm but active family environment, with a family who understands the behaviours of the breed and can continue her training journey and put firm boundaries in place to ensure she continues to thrive.
A garden to explore and play in is a must for Bo.
Bo shows dominance around food so we would suggest feeding separately from any resident dog.
Walk/exercise:
Bo can pull at times. She is strong and will require some ongoing training to improve her listening skills and walking to heal.
Bo is very energetic and loves her walks, she walks better with the company of another dog.
Bo walks better where there isn’t any traffic as she can become overstimulated by the noise.
Bo will happily meet other dogs on a walk, she may bark at first but is very friendly towards them.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Bo is a good girl
Travel:
Bo can be a little unsettled at first but soon settles down, because of this we will consider homes up to four hours away
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Bo resource guards when it comes to other dog’s, because of this we would suggest keeping toys separate from any resident dog.
Bo has a Small cherry eye that is sometimes showing but is easily massaged back in.
Sometimes Bo is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Bo has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.

Bo is a beautiful soul that will soak up any affection. She deserves a loving home to claim her own to live free without any worries over her toys/food. Likes to be outside, active and has endless energy when in these surroundings. Our little bowling ball Bo.
Bo’s adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.
**Every dog rehomed by GBSR receives Rescue Back-up for their whole Life. And the admin team are available for advice and support for the whole of that dog’s lifetime via Messenger, therefore the successful applicant will need to have an active Facebook and Messenger account for the life of the dog. If you cannot agree to this, please don’t apply**

Please welcome Bo Into the GBSR family
Bo’s family reached out to us when they couldn’t care for her anymore; due to an unwell family member, they couldn’t offer Bo the time and love she needed unfortunately. No judgement please, we are grateful they came to us in their time of need and that we could help.
Bo is a gorgeous 2 year old girl, who has previously had cherry eye surgery and BOAS completed. Whilst she is in our care; she will be getting a complete health check.
Bo was collected by a first time foster Jade Jones in Wales, Thank you Jade and family for coming to Bo’s rescue so quickly! Bo now has a fur foster brother Denver and a skin foster brother Tegwyn.
Denver is being extremely patient with his new fur sister and she is certainly testing some boundaries! We are confident they will be besties soon!
