A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Peach is a delightful, affectionate bulldog with a big heart and a playful spirit. She’s relaxed and easy-going, yet she has a cheeky, mischievous side that shines through when she’s playing with toys or interacting with her humans.
Peach is people-oriented and thrives on attention, cuddles, and affection — she would happily follow her humans around the house just to be near them.
She meets new people confidently and with enthusiasm, epitome of a companion dog.
Behaviour:
Peach is happy, playful, and loving. She has never shown any signs of negative behaviour or possessiveness over toys or food. She may get excited when playing or when food is nearby but is always gentle.
She enjoys rough-and-tumble play, loves her toys (especially balls and soft toys), and can spend ages chasing, fetching, and tossing them around.
Peach thrives on interactive play with her humans, loves to initiate fun, and her playful energy is balanced by her ability to settle calmly once the excitement winds down.
Peach is an intelligent and eager-to-please young bulldog. She reliably knows sit, paw, and bed, and responds well to her name. Her recall is fair, especially when motivated by a treat or ball. She is still learning leave it and no, as her love of toys and food can be distracting, but with consistent, positive reinforcement she learns quickly and enjoys training sessions.
Needs:
Peach would thrive in a home where she can be part of daily family life and receive plenty of attention, affection, and mental stimulation.
A calm, affectionate environment with love, structure, and opportunities for both active play and quiet cuddles will help her flourish.
Peach would also benefit from regular exercise and playtime to channel her playful energy, and gentle guidance to help her navigate new situations, household noises, and exciting distractions like toys or food.
Walk/exercise:
Peach loves her walks, she walks calmly and politely on both a collar and harness, showing no reactivity toward other dogs or people she meets along the way.
Peach enjoys exploring new sights and smells, but occasionally she can become distracted, so gentle encouragement is needed to refocus.
Peach thrives on the structure of regular walks and enjoys them as both exercise and bonding time with her humans, often showing her playful side with little bursts of energy and excitement along the route.
Toilet trained:
Peach is still learning to consistently go outside. With a consistent routine, plenty of praise, and positive reinforcement, she is responding very well and is becoming increasingly reliable. She enjoys being rewarded for going outside and is quickly gaining confidence in her new habits, showing that she’s eager to please and keen to do the right thing.
Travel:
Peach travels well, because of this we will consider homes up to four hours away from her current location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Peach can become excited around food, toys, or anything that looks like a treat (including packages and fridge doors). She may try to snatch unattended food, so boundaries should be maintained.
She can also be wary of loud household noises such as vacuum cleaners, ironing boards, or doors closing but settles quickly.
Peach came into foster potentially having recently had a litter. She will be going to her new home on a spay contract and will be re called 12 weeks after her next season. The cost of her spay will be covered by the charity for the basic spay at a vet of the charity’s choosing.
Peach has skin allergies, which are currently managed with regular baths and Apoquel to keep her comfortable and under control. Any potential new owner will need to consider the coast of her medication going forward.
Sometimes Peach is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as she has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.

Peach
Please welcome 3 year old Peach into our Springboard family
We don’t know much about this little lady at all. Only that she has been bred from and that she has been with her current owner for only 3 months and now they are no longer able to look after her…..
So, we want to give this little girl our warmest welcome, she deserves love and stability, and we are going to make sure she gets it, now she is a GBSR girl
Huge thanks Kirsty Finka for offering to collect and foster Peach for us over the Bank Holiday weekend. Thank to you, now she can start her new life with us, we are very grateful
Peach has settled very well but she has had a lot of changes in a short period of time so we will just let her adjust and take everything in in her own time… but she really is taking the changes in her stride, she is a little superstar
On inspection Peach is quite thin and suffering from untreated skin allergies which is making her very itchy, so she needs her vet check this week so we can discuss her treatment plan and her spay at some point.
So please join us in welcoming Peach onto her Springboard journey and we are looking forward to seeing her settle and blossom in our care
