Margot -In Foster – South East
Please welcome #Margot to the Geordie Bullies family
Margot is sadly another dog who found herself alone on the streets, bravely battling the harsh winter weather
Thankfully, she was found and taken to the local kennels, where every effort was made to track down her family. Sadly, like so many others, no one came forward for her
As soon as Margot’s seven-day hold period ended, she was welcomed into the loving home of our wonderful fosters, Anuradha and her partner, alongside their resident dog Loki. Here, Margot has begun her new life — one filled with love, warmth, safety, and comfort
As part of our foster process, all of our dogs receive a full veterinary health check. We were concerned when Margot showed signs of blood in her urine, so she was seen by the vet straight away.
The good news is that Margot is overall in good health. She is a healthy weight, her heart is strong, and she has now been microchipped. Unfortunately, the vets believe she may have a UTI, so she has been prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatories while we await the results of her urine sample.
Margot is settling into foster life well. She is experiencing some separation anxiety, which is completely understandable after everything she has been through. Her incredible foster family are gently helping her build confidence by getting her used to being left alone for short periods, which will gradually increase over time
Please note that Margot has only just arrived into foster and is not yet available for adoption. Applications are not open yet so please dont attempt to apply for her just yet. We will share Margot’s adoption poster once she has reached the end of her assessment period.
