Ronnie – Now Adopted!
Ronnie is big cuddly boy who loves playing football, rough play and having snuggles. He is good with other dogs both in and out of his home and although he is untested with cats in the home, he has ignored them when he has been out. Ronnie really enjoys his walk, preferring the collar and lead to the harness, and he interacts well with other dogs. He will recall in his own time, but he is very good with standard commands such as sit, stay and paw.

Things to be Aware of:
He will eat the post if he gets to is before you do..! and he will bark when there is a knock at the door. Ronnie is on a raw diet and because of a previous food allergy we prefer him to stay on this, his foster mum can advise on brand and portions etc.
The Ideal Family:
Ronnie loves people and being involved in family life so, ideally, he will have company for most of the day.
He is a playful young dog so it would be nice for him to have a canine buddy to play with, see comments below, or he will be just as happy as an ‘only dog’;
He will also need an active family who will take him for plenty of walks.
Other comments
Ronnie is a fabulous young dog who is friendly with everyone.
He can be boisterous and he has history of fighting with a male dog before he came into foster ( the previous owner thought the other dog was the aggressor, not Ronnie ) .
There has been no problem between Ronnie and the resident male dog in foster but if he is rehomed with a dog we feel a bitch would be better for him. Ideally we would like Ronnie to meet any dog he could potentially be living with, a play date would be ideal.
Ronnie settles well when left alone with no need for a crate and can be left for up to 4 hours. He is house trained and up to date with his vaccinations and he has been neutered.
As Ronnie travels well, we will consider a new home for him, up to 4 hours from his current location
If you have any questions, please ask Julie Anderson, foster mum to Ronnie.
Ronnie’s adoption fee is £400 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.
