Millie – Now Adopted!
Millie is home!
We are very pleased to announce that Millie has found her forever home with Kate and her four-legged friend Fudge!
Millie was collected by her new Mummy and has settled well.
Millie isn’t very keen on making friends with her new fur sibling, so Kate is going to take it very slowly and is considering dog training classes.
Millie has enjoyed walks out with her new mum and helped her tidy up the shed.
Millie is now settling into her new life very well with Kate and is being spoilt rotten, enjoying lots of love and cuddles.
So please join us in congratulating Kate, Fudge and Millie We look forward to sharing the next chapter of your life with you!
Be good but most of all be happy sweetheart xxx
A huge thank you to James Cooper for caring for Millie and preparing her for her forever home. Also, a massive well done on your 1st foster dog, you have been fabulous. Thank you so much.
A little of Millie’s story below,
Millie is a lovely little girl that enjoys all human contact, she is loving and outgoing and will paw for more attention. She happily lives with the other dogs in the home but doesn’t really know how to play with toys yet.
She can be a wilful and could do with more training of basic commands and she will get angsty if the other dogs approach her crate if there is food.
Dogs name: Millie
Age: 3 Years 8 months
Can live with children: Yes
Can live with dogs: Yes but NO entire dogs (male or female)
Can live with cats: Untested
Current location: Bonnybridge, Falkirk
Things to be aware of:
Millie will need to be spayed once she is home. This will be organised with the charity at a vet of our choice and will be paid by the charity.
At present Millie is crated when she eats and therefore feels the need to defend it from the other dogs in the foster home if they come close. Other than this, she is very happy around other dogs but if there are dogs in her new home, we advise that she is not fed in a crate but is fed separately.
The ideal home:
Millie is an active girl so we would be looking for a home committed to taking her on walks and including her as part of the family.
She can get giddy and excitable around children so any young children in the home would need to be supervised as she doesn’t realise her size.
Other comments:
Millie is a very loving girl who has flourished in her foster home. Apart from the feeding issue mentioned above, we have no problem with her being rehomed with other dog.
She will make a lovely addition to any family.
Millie is a happy traveller so we will consider a new home for her up to 4 hours from her current location.
