A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Archie
Archie is the definition of a gentle soul — soft, sweet, and happiest when he’s curled up on a warm lap. He moves through life at his own unhurried pace, plodding along on walks as if he’s savouring every moment. If he had his way, the day would be one long, cozy nap broken up only by cuddle sessions. There’s something incredibly tender about him; he radiates calm, comfort, and that quiet kind of love that makes you feel lucky just to have him nearby.
Albi
Albi is pure, joyful chaos in the most endearing way — a little spark of excitement who wants to be everywhere, meet everyone, and do everything all at once. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his playful energy fills the room like sunshine. He thrives on fun and attention, always ready for a game or an adventure, and if he’s not entertained, he’ll happily create his own mischief. There’s a bright, spirited charm to him that makes every day feel a bit more lively and full of laughter.
Behaviour:
Archie and Albi are young boys, same age but from different litters, and they’re very much still learning about the world.
With their youth comes the need for ongoing training and clear, consistent boundaries to help them grow into well‑rounded adults.
They adore each other and play with all the enthusiasm of boisterous brothers, which means their rough‑and‑tumble games will need supervision and the occasional calm intervention. Like many siblings, they can be protective of their favourite things, so high‑value treats and mealtimes should always be given separately in their own spaces to keep everything peaceful.
Both boys have been making lovely progress with their basic commands, and it’s important that their adoptive family continues this training to support their development.
With structure, patience, and plenty of affection, Archie and Albi will thrive in a home that understands their needs and enjoys the lively charm of growing pups.
Needs:
Archie and Albi will flourish in a calm but active family environment where they can be included in daily life and continue building confidence through consistent training.
Because they’re still young, they’ll benefit from a family who understands their breed, their behaviours, and the support they’ll need as they mature.
A secure garden is essential, as playtime is one of their favourite ways to burn off energy and bond.
They would also do well with a calm, spayed female dog in the home, as this can offer companionship and balance their youthful enthusiasm.
With the right structure, understanding, and plenty of involvement in family routines, the boys will grow into wonderful, well‑adjusted companions.
Walk/exercise:
Archie and Albi both enjoy their walks, but they each approach the world in their own way. Albi can be nervous around traffic and prefers to keep up a brisk pace, while Archie is far more relaxed, taking everything in his stride and favouring a gentle stroll.
Despite their differences, they walk beautifully together as a little pack, showing no concerning behaviours when meeting other dogs out and about.
With patience, reassurance, and an understanding of their individual walking styles, their future family will find that walks are a lovely way to help the boys grow in confidence and enjoy the world around them.
Toilet trained:
The boys are a working progress but with a good routine they will soon understand expectations.
Travel:
The boys love a car ride, because of this we will accept applications of up to 4 hours away from their current location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**
Things to be aware of:
Albi and Archie will be adopted on a “to be neutered” contract the boys will be recalled September 2026.
During Archie’s spay he will have his cherry eye repocketed. Costs covered for neuter and cherry eye repocketing will be covered by the charity.
The boys previous neglect and malnutrition has affected the boys growth and confirmation. They may not grow to what should have been their full potential.
Albi may need BOAS surgery in the future, this will be the financial responsibility of the adopted family.
Sometimes the boys are excited to play but don’t realise their size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as they have the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.

Albi & Archies story.
Please welcome two very special puppies #Albi and #Archie .
2026 has already brought us many challenges and this weekend was another reminder of why we do what we do.
These two beautiful boys came into our care through a neglect case. The individual responsible is currently in prison and has already been banned from owning animals. Because of this, the police were able to gain access to the property and the dog warden brought the boys to safety.
When they were found, they were shut in a room, shaking, frightened, and completely overwhelmed.
They had no names… so we gave them one.
Albi , our merle boy, and Archie , his chocolate-coloured brother.
Both are around 10 months old, but they weigh just 10kg and 12kg. They should be strong, playful pups… yet they are painfully underweight and physically fragile
They saw our vet tonight, and the reality of their condition is truly devastating.
Albi (merle) has demodex, open skin sores, a cough, and is severely underweight.
Archie (chocolate) has cherry eye, demodex pyoderma, including a large wet open sore on his neck, and his overall conformation is very poor.
Our vet believes the lack of proper care has stunted their growth permanently.
Despite everything, they are now safe — warm, clean, and being shown love for the very first time by their incredible foster family, Nikki and Alex, who stepped forward without hesitation. Their dedication means the world to us.
Right now, the boys need intensive veterinary care — antibiotics, steroids, demodex treatment, antifungal shampoos, and ongoing medical support. They came to us with absolutely nothing, and the cost of their treatment will be significant.
If you are able to help, please consider donating. Every penny will go directly towards their care and recovery.
For now, they will undergo a full assessment period, so please don’t send pre-interest enquiries yet. We need time to understand what kind of homes they will need.
A special thank you…
To Georgia, for acting so quickly and collecting these boys when they needed us most — your compassion and urgency made all the difference.
To Ellie, for transporting them safely to their foster home and ensuring their journey ended in warmth and love — we are so grateful.
And to our wonderful foster family Nikki and Alex, who, despite only just arriving home, were back on the road in the early hours to welcome them — your kindness is truly humbling.
It takes a village to save a life, and these boys are here today because of yours.
Albi and Archie — your lives begin again tonight.
You will never be alone again.
