A BIT ABOUT ME

Personality:

Angel is a sweet and affectionate bulldog with a gentle nature. She adores being around people and other dogs.

Angel actively seeks out cuddles from both humans and dogs alike.

Angel is easily excitable and will burst into a joyful wiggle dance.

She thrives on companionship and simply wants to be close to those she loves.

Behaviour:

Angel loves to groom her doggy friends by giving them big loving licks.

Angel loves playing with toys and will actively seek you out to play. She shows no signs of resource guarding.

Angel has been practicing “sit” and “wait” during her time in foster and is making steady progress. Continuing her training in her new home will not only reinforce what she’s learned but also help build a strong and trusting bond with her new family.

Angel doesn’t really engage in rough play. When you try to play, she will often roll over for a belly rub instead, as she much prefers gentle interaction and affection.

Needs:

Angel needs a home where she can be included in all aspects of daily family life.

Angel enjoys being part of the action and doesn’t like to be left out.

She would benefit from living with another relaxed and friendly dog for company.

Angel can happily live with children of any age, she is calm, relaxed and gentle in their company.

Walk/exercise:

Angel walks well both on and off the lead. She usually comes back with eye contact, though she sometimes gives the classic “bulldog deaf ear” but never goes too far and regularly checks where you are.

Angel is happy walking alone or in a pack, and she has no issues being walked with other dogs.

Angel has met other dogs on walks and has been friendly, often enjoying a playful runaround. If another dog barks, she may bark back, but she is easily distracted and moves on quickly.

Angel wears a harness and gets super wiggy with excitement when its time to go out.

Toilet trained:

Yes, Angel is a good girl.

Travel:

Angel travels well, because of this we would consider homes up to for hours away from her location.

We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.

**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**

Things to be aware of:

Angel came into season while in foster, so she will be re homed on a spay contract. She will be recalled in November for the procedure, which will be carried out at a vet chosen by the charity, with the cost covered by the charity for a basic spay.

Angel has allergies and is highly allergic to chicken, so will need to stay on her current diet of Burns Pork & Potato sensitive.

Sometimes Angel is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as she has the potential to jump and knock children over.

Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.

Additional information from Angel’s foster:

If you want to feel like you are the most important person in the world and be greeted with the best bum wiggles angel is the girl for you.

Angel’s adoption donation fee is £450 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.

Angel

Please welcome 4-year-old Angel into our Springboard family

Angel was bought from a selling site recently but sadly the resident dog didn’t take to her so to keep her safe, the owner contacted us for help

So, on Wednesday Adam Bowley went to collect Angel for us. We want to thank Adam and Sarah for fostering this little girl for us. They have had several fosters join their pack and we are very grateful to them, thank you

Angel has met the pack, and after a first unsettled night, she is starting to relax.
She has some skin issues and she will wee on the floor overnight while she is alone, but we think with time that will stop.

Angel has had her vet check, and she is on steroids for her ears and skin, and we are hopeful, once her new diet kicks in and we can start cleaning her ears properly, she will soon be in tip top condition

So welcome to the rest of your live little Angel and we can’t wait to see you flourish
