A BIT ABOUT ME

Personality:

Beau is an affectionately natured young lady, who adores her humans.

Beau has a beautiful charm and a joy that makes her a pleasure to have as part of the family.

Her playful and gentle temperament make her an ideal family member.

Behaviour:

Beau is a gentle soul who will shy away from rough play, she is enjoying playing with toys.

Beau is happy and affectionate towards cats in the home.

Beau adores children and will follow them when food is on offer.

Needs:

Beau needs an active but calm family environment, with a family who will keep her involved in all that is daily life.

Beau will benefit from a calm male doggy companion to keep her company when her humans are away.

A garden is a must for her to play.

Walk/exercise:

Beau loves her walks; she walks well both alone and in company.

Beau really enjoyed taking part in charity bulldog walks, she loved the attention of it all and interacting with other dogs.

Beau has a typical deaf ear, so recall depends on what is holding her attention.

Toilet trained:

Beau is a good girl; she may have an accident initially but will soon understand her new routine and what is expected of her.

Travel:

Beau travels very well, because of this we will accept application of up to 4hours away from her current location.

We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.

Things to be aware of:

Beau’s eye can be irritated at times, but a good husbandry routine makes sure any potential issue is caught quickly and taken care of.

Beau isn’t a fan of her tail pocket being cleaned, however will allow you to clean it with a little bribery.

Sometimes Beau is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as she has the potential to jump and knock children over.

Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.

Additional information from Beau’s foster family:

Beau is a beautiful loving little girl who will melt your heart from the minute you meet her she loves to play fetch and loves a good zoomie all she wants is a family of her own that can give her as much love as she will give you and her cuddles are the best.

Beau’s adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Beau’s story below,

Beau

Please welcome Beau back into the arms of her GBSR family.

You may remember Beau was adopted last year by Jo but very sadly Jo has asked Beau to come back into foster care

Jo has been suffering from ill health and feels Beau isn’t having the life or getting the attention she deserves
It’s a very sad situation for Jo as she loves Beau dearly, but she has put aside her feelings so Beau can have a better life. So after a short stay with Sharon Pallister, Beau was road trained to Scotland and into foster with Nicola Lepick who will foster her while we reassess her needs

Thank you to Nicola for stepping in and taking Beau for us, we are very grateful, and thank you to Sharon and Davy for helping transport Beau to her foster home.

Thank you Jo for giving Beau a lovely life, and we are truly sorry you have had to makes the decision to let her go, we know it wasn’t easy

So welcome back Beau, don’t worry sweetheart, we will find your ‘happy ever after’ for you
