A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Bella is a Loving, calm, and affectionate girl with a gentle, loyal nature. She is the perfect mix of companionship and charm.
Bella adores being around her humans and takes great comfort in their presence, she’s happiest when she can see or hear you nearby.
While she’s mostly laid-back, she has a fun, playful side — especially when there’s a ball involved! Full of character and charm, Bella is the perfect mix of companion and best friend.
Behaviour:
Bella is polite and obedient, she knows her basic commands (sit, paw, wait, leave) and has great manners. She’s not reactive with other dogs and enjoys calm social interactions.
Bella enjoys a bit of rough play in short bursts but always in a gentle, good-natured way. She’ll happily join in when encouraged, especially with people she knows and trusts.
Bella is a smart girl who enjoys praise and positive attention, and her cooperative nature makes her easy to handle in most situations.
Needs:
Bella would truly flourish in a calm, loving home where she has plenty of human company throughout the day. She forms close bonds with her people and takes great comfort in their presence, often choosing to rest where she can see or hear them.
Bella would love a home with a relaxed pace of life, a predictable routine, and lots of affection. She’ll happily fit in with family life as long as she knows she’s part of it, a loyal little shadow who just wants to be loved and included.
Walk/exercise:
Bella walks beautifully on the lead, whether she’s on a short or extendable one. She absolutely loves her walks and gets excited as soon as she sees her collar, knowing it’s time for an adventure.
Bella is a curious little explorer, she enjoys taking her time to sniff every interesting scent along the way and observe her surroundings.
Bella is very calm and polite when meeting unfamiliar dogs out on walks. She’ll usually show a bit of interest — perhaps a gentle sniff or a quick glance, but she’s not overexcited or reactive. Once she’s greeted another dog, she’s happy to move on and continue her walk without fuss.
Toilet trained:
Yes, fully house-trained. Bella will go to the back door or bark to let you know she needs to go out.
Travel:
Bella travels very well and is relaxed in the car, because of this we would consider homes up to four hours from her location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Bella feels most secure knowing that someone she trusts is close by, which helps her stay calm and relaxed. Bella is not destructive or overly anxious, but she does need reassurance during times of separation, making her best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time or where she can have company during the day. With a patient and loving routine, she adjusts quickly and happily, showing just how gentle, loyal, and people-focused she really is.
Sometimes Bella is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as she has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Bella’s foster family:
Bella is such a relaxed, happy little dog who just wants love, attention and her humans nearby.

Bella
Please welcome Bella into the arms of our Springboard family
Bella is approximately 3 years old, and she was found as a stray on the streets
A homeless person laid claim to Bella but never came back to collect her, so we were more than happy to take her into foster and give her the life she deserves
At the weekend it was all systems go as volunteers Helen Nunn and Gail Agrisatini jumped into action to road train Bella to the South East and into foster with Martin Parsons.
We cannot thank Helen and Gail enough for being so flexible on Sunday, it wasn’t easy, and we are very grateful for you giving up your time to get Bella safely to Martin. And to Martin who has offered to foster teeny tiny Bella for us. It was a great effort from everyone so thank you very much
Bella was understandably unsettled on Sunday night as she had experienced a lot of change in a short period of time, but she is now settling beautifully
Martin has taken her on walks and given her a new tennis ball which she loves, and she is starting to relax which is always beautiful to see.
Bella appears to be in good health, but she will have her vet check later this week and we will discuss her spay and get her booked in.
