Boris & Bruno – Now Adopted!

Let’s end the week on some good news!
Boris and #Bruno are home
Boris and Bruno arrived in foster care at the start of July after a very sad surrender due to their family’s circumstances changing. Their family put the boys’ welfare first and reached out to us for a foster placement to ensure that, when the time came, Boris and Bruno would find the very best home
They truly landed on all four paws when Jo and her family opened their hearts and home to welcome the boys into foster care. Boris and Bruno quickly became best friends with Jo’s dog, Lenny, who was more than happy to share his home and toys
We would like to say a huge thank you to Jo for everything she did for the boys. They will forever remember and be grateful to you. We hope you enjoyed your first foster experience, and we truly hope you’ll foster for us again
Thankfully, when Boris and Bruno’s adoption applications opened, the perfect family applied! Alison and Warren collected their boys on Wednesday, and they’ve settled in fabulously
They are already being spoilt rotten with love, fusses (and sausages for breakfast ), and we just know they’re going to live happily ever after with their new parents
Please join us in congratulating Alison and Warren on welcoming their new family members, Boris and Bruno!
Please welcome brothers #Boris & #Bruno into our Springboard family
Boris is the darker boy & Bruno is the redhead
The boys are 6-year-old entire brother’s and sadly their owner’s situation has recently changed meaning they could no longer be cared for as they had been.
Please no judgement, these boys have been very much loved, and their owner has put their needs before their own leaving them heartbroken
We want to thank Jo Logan for travelling to collect the boys for us and for offering to foster them both into foster in the Southwest. We very much appreciate you opening your home to the boys
Introductions with resident Spaniel Lenny seem to be going well and after a bit of unsettled night, the boys are starting to decompress.
The boys will need a vet check, Boris appears to have a bit of a dry eye, but they both appear to be in good condition, so hopefully they will be neutered in the not-too-distant future and once assessed they will be ready for their new home.
So welcome to your new family boys and we are looking forward to following your Springboard journey
