A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Chase is the epitome of a companion dog; He thrives on physical affection and will seek his humans for affection and play.
Chase’s inquisitive and energetic nature makes him ideal for an active family lifestyle.
Behaviour:
Chase is a typical bulldozer of a bulldog who is very loving and enjoys long snoozes and playing with his toys.
Chase is crate trained. This is something we would encourage in his new home as this is his safe space and den.
Chase knows his basic commands, he knows sit, paw, and bed. He is eager to please especially if a treat is involved.
Needs:
Chase would suit an active family, who will keep him involved with all that is daily family life.
Chase prefers his humans to himself and doesn’t like to share his space with other dogs.
Chase needs a family who can continue with him on his journey with training and boundaries, to ensure he reaches his incredible potential.
A garden is a must as this boy loves to explore and enjoys the outdoors.
Walk/exercise:
Chase walks very well on the lead and doesn’t pull. He loves being outside play and exploring his environment.
Chase does not have any recall so would need on going training in this area.
Chase can be anxious around unfamiliar dogs whilst out the home.
Chase wears a harness and has no problems having it put on.
Toilet trained:
Chase can have an accident during the night; a good toileting routine should help to resolve this once he is settled.
Travel:
Chase travels well, he is relaxed and happy and shows no signs of stress or anxiety, because of this we would consider homes up to four hours away.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**
Things to be aware of:
Chase loves toys and can be toy possessive. He will need ongoing training in this area.
Chase isn’t a fan of the hoover or blender and will bark when they are on.
Sometimes Chase is excited to play but doesn’t realise his size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Chase has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Chase’s foster family:
He has been an absolute pleasure to have, loves a walk and loves being around his pack (family)
Chase’s adoption donation fee is £400 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Chase’s story below,
Please welcome Chase into the arms of his Springboard family
Chase was found as a stray and spent time in kennels while they tried to find a rescue space for him
Yesterday Chase was collected by his new foster mum Sally Bennett. Thank you Sally for offering to take this gorgeous boy for us, we are very grateful
This lovely boy has taken the move from kennels to home all in his stride
His ears are very gunky, he has double cherry eye and an infection in his scrotum but he is chilled out, relaxed and is enjoying having toys to play with
He is the happiest boy & he has settled very quickly into life with Sally & Matt and has already claimed a sun spot in the garden
Chase will need to see our vet early next week so we can discuss his medical issues and get a plan in place to address them
So please join us in welcoming this gorgeous chunk of a boy called Chase onto his foster journey with us and we cant wait to see him flourish
