A BIT ABOUT ME

Personality:

Coco is an absolute sweetheart who loves attention and cuddles, she is a real people pleaser and will seek out her humans for affection

Coco will sit with you for hours. She loves having bum scratches and being brushed, she just loves to be loved and pampered

Coco loves playing with toys, soft teddies being her favourite

Behaviour:

Coco isn’t a fan of rough play; she prefers love and affection. However, If you lay on floor and cover up face she loves to play with you

Coco needs ongoing training to learn basic commands but is very well behaved and will go and lay down in her bed when instructed to.

Needs:

Coco needs a garden with space to play and exercise.

Coco would benefit from an experienced bulldog owner who understands her needs and continue with her training to help her reach her potential.

Walk/exercise:

Coco walks calmly, she doesn’t pull and will walk at you your heel most of the time

Coco can get excitable when other dogs, birds and cats are about.

Coco uses a harness for her walks and has no issues with having it put on or taken off

Toilet trained:

Coco will need a bit more training in this area so will need lots of praise, encouragement and a good toilet training routine. She has been making progress recently.

Travel:

Coco is very relaxed whilst traveling. Because of this we will consider a home up to four hours away.

We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.

Things to be aware of:

Coco will be going home on a spay contract, to be completed at a vet agreed with the charity, costs to be covered by the charity.

Coco must have a controlled diet due to being overweight and must not be allowed to gain weight.

Additional information:

Coco is everything you would ask for in an affectionate, playful and loving bulldog

Coco is a well-rounded girl who would suit a calm but active family home with older children. Any family lucky enough to adopt her will be truly blessed.

Coco’s adoption donation fee is £400 and will need to be paid in full prior to going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A bit about Coco’s journey ..
They are Both 5-year-old and entire females .

We were contacted by the kennels to ask us to help this poor girls. Both girls were found terrified wandering the streets alone.
The dog warden was alerted and collected them after a call from the public and took them to kennels.

As you will see from the photo’s this pair are extremely over weight which is very unhealthy for the breed
We can only assume that they were abandoned because of the costs of the vet care they both need.

Coco is the chocolate TRI colour and Sansa is the lilac Tri colour. Coco is so overweight and dirty , Sansa has cherry eye and is limping .
Sansa is showing signs of kennel cough which will of course spread to Coco so both girls will need treatment, we just hope their weight doesn’t hinder their breathing as kennel cough is very difficult for them . Just to add insult to injury poor Sansa is in season too, so thank god we got her before she ended up pregnant .

The girls are a bonded pair, and its clear they lean on each other for support. They have taken to foster life well and are indulging in every bit of attention, play and affection that they can.

A massive thanks to Mark Pyle, & Georgia Ak for road training this beautiful pair to their foster family.

Thank you Jessica & Simon Moore for opening your hearts and home to the girls and welcome to your first foster journey with GBSR .

The girls are in foster in the Midlands and will be seeing our vet tomorrow to get them seen and covered with antibiotics for KC amount other things .

Coco and Sansa have nothing to call their own, if you would like to donate towards their care and essential items our donation details are below
