Dozer – Is Home

We are absolutely over the moon to announce that #Dozer is finally home

Dozer arrived into foster care back in November after being found wandering the streets. With only minutes to spare at the end of his 7-day hold, we were thankfully able to step in and save Dozer’s life

We reached out to our incredible network of volunteers and, without hesitation, Gail jumped into action and headed straight to the kennels to collect him

After celebrating a fun-filled and happy Christmas with Gail and her family, Dozer needed to move fosters for some holiday cover. We decided to use this as an opportunity to test him with other dogs, so he went on to join Gemma and her family in the South West.

When he first arrived in foster, Dozer was extremely anxious. But through the love, patience and dedication shown by both Gail and Gemma and their families, he has blossomed into the most fabulous and confident little man — even if he still walks at a snail’s pace

We can’t thank Gail and Gemma enough for the love and kindness they showed Dozer throughout his foster journey. You have quite literally saved his life, and we know he will be forever grateful

Last week, Dozer was collected by his new parents, Lisa and Dale. He has been settling in beautifully, exploring his new home and has even met the family’s horses and sheep

We can’t wait to follow all of Dozer’s adventures and watch his happily ever after unfold
