A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Dudley is the epitome of companion, happiest at the side of his person.
Dudley is an active playful boy who loves a good game of tug rope.
Dudley thrives on physical contact and will seek you for attention and affection.
Behaviour:
Dudley thrives in the company of his person; he will be at your side at every opportunity.
Dudley can display food aggression so must be fed completely separately from other dogs.
Dudley can be anxious around large breed dogs but loves dogs of his or smaller size.
Dudley is doing well learning his commands and is eager to please his people, but he will need ongoing training to reach his full potential.
Needs:
Dudley needs a calm but active family environment one able to keep him involved in all that is daily life.
Dudley needs a family who can continue his training journey and help him to thrive.
Dudley would benefit from a calm dog in the home to keep him company while his people are away.
Walk/exercise:
Dudley loves his walks; he walks well alone and in company.
Dudley loves to explore his surroundings and is very sociable with people and smaller/same build dogs.
Toilet trained:
Dudley is a good boy.
Travel:
Dudley travels well, he can start off a little anxious but soon settles.
Because of this we will accept applications of up to 4 hours from his current location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Dudley will not be rehomed with any entire males.
Loud environments can unsettle Dudley he is best suited to a calm quiet life.
Sometimes Dudley is excited to play but doesn’t realise his size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as he has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information:
Don’t let that grumpy faced fool you, this boy is full of love and happiness.
Dudley may not have had the best start, he does however have the most incredible future ahead of him. All that is missing is his forever family ready to help him reach his full potential.
Dudley’s adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Dudley’s story below,
Please welcome Dudley to our GBSR family.
Dudley is an entire male of unknown age.
We were contacted by the local dog wardens asking if we could help him.
A stranger had found him wandering the streets.
They scanned his microchip and unsurprisingly it isn’t registered.
Another poor boy abandoned to the streets with not even a name to call his own.
Dudley isn’t a full English he is Olde English Bulldogge but how could we say no to him and those beautiful, terrified eyes of his.
Dudley has been shaved he is covered in clipper burn, who shaves a bulldog breed?
He is filthy, covered in scars, from bite wounds, and frightened of everything around him.
Huge thanks to Adam Dabin for coming to Dudley’s aid, collecting him from the kennels and starting his journey to his foster home.
He’s currently in foster with Rachel Caulkett and her family and slowly getting to know his new foster sister Millie.
Dudley has nothing to call his own, if you would like to donate towards his care and essential items our donation details are below
