Dudley – Now Adopted!

 #Dudley is Home

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our darling Dudley has found his happy ever after

You will remember Dudleys story… He was found as a stray wandering the streets by a member of the public with not even a name to call his own
Dudley had been shaved and was covered in clipper burns.
He was filthy, covered in scars, from bite wounds, and frightened of everything around him

Dudley flourished in foster and was rehomed, but he didn’t get his happy ever after like we all thought
In fact, not long after being rehomed, his owners returned him to us within days, with an injury to his patella after trying to say he was rehomed injured when he clearly wasn’t!

So our poorly boy came back into foster with Kerry Stanley and her pack of rescue dogs… Frank the Tripod, Rosie, Stuart and Vera.
Dudley has a BFF in Frank the Tripod, and they have a bit of a bro-mance going on and often share a bed and a snuggle together
Dudley settled very well in foster with Kerry and it soon became evident that Dudley had adopted Kerry as his own. He trusted her immensely even after being cruelly let down twice by hoomans before
Kerry has nursed Dudley through his patella surgery and hasn’t left his side. So when Kerry asked if her and David could adopt him, we immediately said yes, and we couldn’t be happier for them all

So, with no further delay, please join us in congratulating Kerry, David, and Dudley and their beautiful pack on their new family addition
We wish you many happy years making lots of memories together

To Dudley, no more moving around for you, sweetheart. You are forever home with your beautiful mumma Kerry, David and your BFF Rosie, Frank the Tripod, Vera and Stuart
You will be cherished forever more sweetheart

A little of Dudley’s story below,

Please welcome Dudley to our GBSR family.

Dudley is an entire male of unknown age.

We were contacted by the local dog wardens asking if we could help him.

A stranger had found him wandering the streets.

They scanned his microchip and unsurprisingly it isn’t registered.

Another poor boy abandoned to the streets with not even a name to call his own.

Dudley isn’t a full English he is Olde English Bulldogge but how could we say no to him and those beautiful, terrified eyes of his.

Dudley has been shaved he is covered in clipper burn, who shaves a bulldog breed?

He is filthy, covered in scars, from bite wounds, and frightened of everything around him.

Huge thanks to Adam Dabin for coming to Dudley’s aid, collecting him from the kennels and starting his journey to his foster home.

He’s currently in foster with Rachel Caulkett and her family and slowly getting to know his new foster sister Millie.

Dudley has nothing to call his own, if you would like to donate towards his care and essential items our donation details are below
