Ella – Now adopted
Ella came into foster as an anxious girl but she has started to trust her foster family and is blossoming every day. She now seeks cuddles and attention and is really enjoying the fuss she gets.
She loves her toys but her toys are her toys… and no one else’s and she won’t give them up easily.
Ella is walked on her own as other dogs make her anxious and scared and she will bark

Things to be aware of:
She can be possessive over toys so any children would need to be aware not to try and grab them. The toys are in the garden in her foster home, she isn’t allowed toys in the house.
Ella is fine with the older children in her foster home, but she struggles a bit with the noise and chaos young children create and she will become overwhelmed and start shaking. She is very gentle around the children but can only cope with 2 or 3 at any one time.
The ideal home:
The ideal home for Ella will be a calm one where she can totally relax and not be put under pressure with young children. She loves company so her new family will need to be around a good part of the day and this will also help create a bond. Ella is only young and with the right family she will make a lovely and loving companion.
Other comments:
Ella has taken a while to decompress whilst in foster. She has also had to deal with a spay and tail amputation in the short time she has been with us.
She was quite distressed initially, and her foster family have given her the time to get used to her new life and she is starting to trust them.
Ella, might take a step backwards when she is rehomed so her new family need to be aware and be patient with her.
Ella travels well so we will consider a new home up to 4 hours from her current location in Essex.
Ella’s adoption donation fee is £450 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.
