Etta – Now Adopted!

#Etta is Home

We have the greatest news to tell you and it’s that Etta has made her way home!  Etta has captured the heart of Sally, Andy and Julie!

Etta unfortunately was found as a stray in a kennel, where thankfully they reached out to us to help!

Etta landed straight into foster with Anuradha and her family along with resident dog Loki ! Anuradha this was your first foster with us and we’re so grateful you chose us! Thank you for coming forward for our gorgeous girl Etta, we know she stole a piece of your heart and we know she’ll always remember you as her saving grace

Now to Etta’s forever family.. Before Etta was even a thought in their minds or even in the hands of GBSR, there was another little GBSR girl called Blueberry, you may remember that Blueberry tragically left Sally far too soon . We lost Blueberry at the end of May and it broke everyone’s heart, but most of all, it destroyed Sally, who loved Blueberry so fiercely.

When Sally reached out to say she believed Etta could help mend a broken heart.. We knew

Etta, be the best girl, be the best friend to Julie we know you can be, be the medicine your mama needs to help heal those wounds.. You’re loved, you’re safe, you’re home my love

Please join us in congratulating, Sally, Andy, Julie and Etta, we can’t wait to see the memories you make

Etta’s story.

Please welcome 2 year old #Etta into our Springboard family.

Sadly, Etta was found as a stray and ended up in kennels

We work closely with a number of kennels & when we were asked if we could take her, we reached out to our fosters to see who was free.

We want to thank Anuradha Mahey for offering to foster Etta for us in the South East. This is Anuradha’s 1st foster so welcome to the world of foster and thank you for opening your home to Etta

Etta has met resident boy Loki and all seems to be well and she has had a good first night.

Etta has already been spayed but we think she has a UTI so Aurradha will be taking this little girl to have her vet check this afternoon.

So please join us in welcoming Etta onto her Springboard journey & we are looking forward to seeing her flourish
