A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Etta is a delightful lady who adores her humans and dogs alike. She loves all physical affection and will seek out her humans and dogs for both affection and play.
Etta’s energetic with a playful temperament and will seek both her people and dogs for play, she loves toys especially squeaky and scrunchy sounding toys.
Etta’s easy-going nature will make her an ideal family pet.
Behaviour:
Etta may start off a little quiet and timid, but she soon finds her paws, comes out her shell and finds her voice.
Etta loves toys and will actively interact with the resident dog and loves bulldog bitey face.
Etta’s recall is very good, and she is doing well learning new commands in the home.
Etta can cower at times, when she sees a shoe or when being groomed, this is improving as she learns to trust the humans around her.
Needs:
Etta needs an active family environment, one with a family who will include her in daily life and continue her training to help her reach her full potential.
Etta needs a playful dog in the home to keep her company and help build her confidence.
A garden is a must, for her as she loves a good zoomie.
Etta needs a family that understands the more you put in the more you get back. She is an amazing lady who will do what she can to learn and please her people.
Walk/exercise:
Etta loves her daily walks; she walks well alone and in company.
Etta will happily meet unfamiliar dogs whilst out, she can bark in excitement which isn’t always met with the same response. None of her behaviour is aggressive.
Etta is responsive to her humans whilst out and responds to commands.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Etta is a good girl, she may have the odd accident initially.
Travel:
Etta travels very well because of this we will accept applications of up to 4 hours from her current location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**
Things to be aware of:
Etta has some allergies we believe to be environmental she is currently on Piriton twice a day.
Etta must stay on her current diet of Burns sensitive as she is doing well and maintaining her healthy coat and skin.
Sometimes Etta is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Etta has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Etta’s foster family:
Our beautiful Etta is the kindest, lovable, huggable bulldog. When she eats, she sounds like a little hippo, when she’s called for a treat, she will sit and wiggle her whole body and you can’t help but fall in love with her. She can be cheeky and a little naughty in true bulldog style, if you tell her ‘no’ but when she looks at you and passes you her paw you just give her the biggest of big hugs. When you walk in the front door, she will give you the warmest greeting like you’ve never known until you meet Etta, she is so happy she will do 5 laps around the living room and jump all over you.
Etta’s adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.
**Every dog rehomed by GBSR receives Rescue Back-up for their whole Life. And the admin team are available for advice and support for the whole of that dog’s lifetime via Messenger, therefore the successful applicant will need to have an active Facebook and Messenger account for the life of the dog. If you cannot agree to this, please don’t apply**

Etta’s story.
Please welcome 2 year old #Etta into our Springboard family.
Sadly, Etta was found as a stray and ended up in kennels
We work closely with a number of kennels & when we were asked if we could take her, we reached out to our fosters to see who was free.
We want to thank Anuradha Mahey for offering to foster Etta for us in the South East. This is Anuradha’s 1st foster so welcome to the world of foster and thank you for opening your home to Etta
Etta has met resident boy Loki and all seems to be well and she has had a good first night.
Etta has already been spayed but we think she has a UTI so Aurradha will be taking this little girl to have her vet check this afternoon.
