Gypsy – In Foster – Midlands
Gypsy 17 December 24
Please welcome Gypsy into foster with GBSR
Gypsy is another pound girl, who found herself at the age of 6, outside, unwanted and unclaimed.
We were approached by a kennels to see if we could take Gypsy as her 7 days were up, and of course we said yes.
Thank you to Sam Hargreaves who collected Gypsy for us yesterday. We really appreciate you fostering for us at short notice and for putting this little girl’s needs first
On collection, Gypsy was subdued, and her eyes were very crusty and sore. It looks like she will need entropion surgery on the right eye and possibly her left as well, as they are both sore and wet. Her nose needs attention with balm as its incredibly dry.
She has clearly been bred from (and as usual, none of that money found its way back to care for her..!!) and she has bad teeth that will need to be removed.
As you can see, its not only Sam who has entered Gypsy’s life to nurse her back to health, she also has a super foster fur brother in Reggie
Reggie is helping her come to terms with all the changes that she has had no control over in her life and this morning, after a settled, clean night, the family were greeted with a very happy little girl
And should the previous owners see this post, then shame on you for not treating this gentlest of girls with love and kindness..!!!
Gypsy has her first vet check booked for Thursday afternoon so we will discus her treatment plan to get her eyes and teeth sorted and organise her spay.
This year Gypsy will be spending Christmas in a loving foster home with food, warmth and comfort. And this is our promise to her that she will suffer no more hardship whilst under the wings of her GBSR family.
