Ice – Now Adopted!
#Ice is HOME
We are overjoyed to share that our gorgeous boy Ice has finally found his forever home!
In May, Ice was sadly surrendered back to us when he wasn’t getting along with the other dog. He also had skin issues that the previous owners couldn’t manage. Thankfully, our lovely volunteer Aimee and her family stepped in to help.
Aimee has worked tirelessly to get Ice’s skin under control through diet and pampering regimes, and it’s worked wonders for him. We are so grateful to Aimee and her family for being Ice’s saving grace during this difficult time.
Now, Ice has found his perfect match in Torie and David. It seems like they were meant to be together!
Torie and David are completely smitten with Ice and are already taking care of every need he has. His grooms are booked in until Christmas! He’s settling in quickly and enjoying his new surroundings.
After three long months of waiting, Ice’s forever after is finally here, and it was all worth it!

Ice is a sad surrender and this is his story ….
Ice has skin allergies and anyone who has had a dog with allergies will know how difficult it can be to manage, and this is why Ice found himself being advertised on a selling site – he was in a mess and his original owners were struggling to keep on top of his flare ups
His new owner took Ice on as a companion for their EB who was grieving and lonely from the loss of her furbuddy.
Ice was treated to a new diet and meds and he has come on quite well, but sadly, the resident EB hasn’t taken to Ice so we were asked if we could help
Yesterday Aimee collected Ice for us, and she will be fostering him in the Yorkshire / Humberside area. Thank you for opening your home to this sweet young boy Aimee, we appreciate it very much
Ice is a very good boy; he settled well over night with no accidents and today he will have his vet check today and we will discuss options for him.
He has areas on his body that are hairless and sore, so we need to get him started on a regime to help calm his skin down and make him less itchy
He is already neutered so it’s a case of getting on top of his allergies & assessment.
Poor Ice has found himself moved from home to home through no fault of his own so once he has completed his assessment, we will be looking for a 5 home for him.
