Personality:
Izzie is a sweet girl who love strokes and cuddles. She likes her walks and is good on and off her lead. She is a gentle little dog who prefers not to play roughly and she like the odd chew toy. She follows commands well and isn’t bothered by other dogs
Things to be Aware of:
Izzie has Dry Eye in her right eye and is currently taking eye drops which she will need for life, this isn’t expensive at around £7 per month.
She is also scared of loud traffic noises, so needs encouragement to keep her calm. Izzie has Luxating patella tendon in her knee (common in bulldogs) our vet recommended we leave it alone as success in operations isn’t great when the dog is older, so managing it with walks that aren’t too strenuous, other than that she’s in excellent health.
The Ideal Family:
The ideal household for Izzie will be a calm one. Izzie has been used to having people and other dogs around, so we prefer that she is not left for any more than 4 hours. She has also had the company of dogs so she can be rehomed with another dog/ dogs who are calm like her.
Other comments:
Izzie hasn’t travelled much in the car whilst in foster so the ideal family will live within 4 hours of her current location. If you have any questions, please ask Lavina Bird her foster mum.
Izzie’s adoption fee is £400 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.
