A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Luna is happiest by your side; she is the epitome of a companion dog.
Luna is a gentle and affectionate lady with a playful nature. She enjoys the company of people and gets along well with other dogs, making her a lovely companion in a calm and friendly home.
Luna thrives on all physical attention and will seek out her humans and dogs for both cuddles and play.
Behaviour:
Luna would do well with a calm and easy-going dog in the home, one she can enjoy gentle play with during the day and relax beside in the evening, A steady companion would help bring out her playful side while also offering her comfort and reassurance.
Luna loves playing with toys, Balls being her favourite
Luna isn’t interested in rough play; she much prefers kisses and cuddles.
Luna knows her basic commands, especially if there if a treat involved, we would encourage active training with all members of the family, allowing Luna’s confidence to grow, and bonds to build between her and her humans.
Needs:
Luna needs a calm but active family environment, with a family who will include her in all that is daily family life.
A garden to potter around in is a must for Luna

Walk/exercise:
Luna likes going out for gentle walks and will walk at her own pace
Luna can pull on the lead at first but soon settles down.
Luna likes to meet other dogs on a walk, she will say hello and carry on her way

Yes, Luna is a good girl

Things to be aware of:
Luna has undergone surgery to correct a luxating patella in her left knee. As such, any potential new owners will need to be mindful of her ongoing recovery and support her by gradually building up her exercise routine over time. It is also essential that Luna is not allowed to jump on or off furniture, as this could cause discomfort or risk further injury to her knee.
Luna also has some mild seasonal skin allergies and requires daily antihistamines.

#Luna
Please welcome Luna into our Springboard family
Luna is a 22 month old, entire girl who, was very sadly surrendered due to her family circumstances changing. Please can we have no judgement, as sometimes things are out of our control and Luna’s family love her very much want her to have the very best life which they felt they couldn’t give her.
On Sunday, Sharon Lafferty collected Luna for us, and she will keep her in foster while we sort this precious little love out, as she has come in with a couple of concerns that need looking into
Thank you very much Sharon, we really appreciate you offering to foster for us and for collecting Luna at the weekend
Luna has settled in very well with her foster family and tomorrow she will have her vet check. She obviously has a skin condition which will need medication, and she also has a slightly closed, weeping eye, so that needs looking at, and she is very stiff on her back end and chooses to sit and shuffle rather than walk so this needs investigating as well
Luna is proving to be an absolute sweetheart in foster, a real gentle soul, so let’s give her a very warm welcome and we are looking forward to seeing her flourish in the arms of GBSR
