A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Nebby is a beautifully affectionate young bulldog who adores her humans and dogs alike.
Nebby thrives on all physical attention and will seek out her humans and dogs for both affection and play.
Her affectionate and gentle temperament make her the ideal family companion.
Behaviour:
Nebby is quick to learn and eager to please, ongoing training will help her to reach her full potential.
Nebby loves toys, she will allow her people to take a toy from her and shows no signs of resource guarding.
Nebby would benefit from a calm laid back dog in the home, one that she can play with during the day and snuggle up to of an evening.
Needs:
Nebby needs an active family environment, one who can balance activity and calmness and one who can shower her with all the attention she could ask for.
Nebby loves the company of her humans and would benefit from being in a home where she is involved in all that is daily family life,
A garden is a must for exercise and play.
Walk/exercise:
Nebby loves being out and about exploring her environment.
Nebby is happy to meet other dogs on a walk, she will have a sniff and carry on with her walk.
Nebby loves her walks; she walks very well alone and in company and in typical bulldog fashion she loves all the attention she attracts.
Toilet trained:
Yes , Nebby is a good girl
Travel:
Nebby travels well, because of this we will consider applications up to four hours away from her current location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**
Things to be aware of:
Nebby may suffer from dry eye in the future due to needed one of her cherry eyes being taken out. Lubricating eye drops will be needed to prevent her eye from becoming dry.
Sometimes Nebby is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Nebby has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Nebby’s foster:
Nebby can be very stubborn by nature, and selective deafness is definitely one of her many “bulldog” traits.
Nebby is one dog you cannot help but fall in love with. I have had no issues with her behaviour, she has not chewed anything, misbehaved in anyway and makes the whole family laugh on a daily basis! whoever has her for forever will be one of the luckiest families in the world!
Nebby’s adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.
**Every dog rehomed by GBSR receives Rescue Back-up for their whole Life. And the admin team are available for advice and support for the whole of that dog’s lifetime via Messenger, therefore the successful applicant will need to have an active Facebook and Messenger account for the life of the dog. If you cannot agree to this, please don’t apply**

Please welcome the very sweet #Nebby (knickers) in our Springboard family
Nebby is just under 2 years old and has come to us after her owner could sadly no longer able to keep her
Yesterday, volunteer Wayne Byrne collected Nebby for us and met Amie-Anne who has kindly offered to foster Nebby for us in the South West.
Thank you both very much for giving up your time to get Nebby into foster for us, we very much appreciate it
Nebby has has a good 1st night and settled well. She is in season so we can’t spay her right now but we will be discussing the plan to fix Nebbys obvious Cherry Eye with our Vet in due course
