A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Odin is the perfect gentleman. Gentle, affectionate, and charming with both humans and dogs. He enjoys attention but also treasures peaceful moments basking in the sunshine.
Odin has slowly been coming out of his shell in foster, growing a cheeky but charming personality.
Odin will quickly steal your heart. He greets you with excitement, wagging his bum and showering you with affection, always ready to share his endless love.
Behaviour:
Odin is a clever, willing boy who knows is basic commands like sit, bed and wait. He is eager to please and quick to learn, he will form strong bonds with his family and thrive with gentle boundaries.
Odin loves playing with toys, balls and chew toys being his favourite, he shows no signs or resource guarding.
Odin is social and good natured; he gets along with other dogs inside and outside of the home. He can be a little humpy at times but responds well to boundaries set by his humans and other dogs,
Needs:
Odin would thrive in a loving home where he can soak up attention and be included in all that is daily family life.
Odin a wonderful, adaptable boy who could settle into most homes, provided they have the time and affection to offer him.
Odin would benefit from clear, consistent boundaries and ongoing training to help him continue developing into the best version of himself.
Odin would benefit from having a female dog in the home. One he can play with during the day and cuddle up to of a night time.
Walk/exercise:
Odin enjoys his walks and uses a harness. He can get a little excited when it’s being put on but settles quickly. He walks ahead with only slight pulling and responds well to correction.
Odin has good recall and is confident walking alone or as part of a pack.
Odin will happily meet other dogs when out and about and engages well, showing good manners with gentle guidance.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Odin is a good boy.
Travel:
Odin travels well, because of this we would consider homes up to fours hours from his location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**
Things to be aware of:
Odin isn’t the biggest fan of having a bath but does respond well to gentle praise and reassurance.
Sometimes Odin is excited to play but doesn’t realise his size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as he has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Odins foster:
Odin is the perfect gentleman who is ready for a loving home. He may be 6, but there’s still lots of puppy love left in him. Any family will feel like they have won the jackpot if they are successful with this gorgeous boy.

Odin
Please welcome Odin into our Springboard family
Odin is an entire 6 year old boy who found himself in a kennels on the PTS list. As soon as we heard his fate we jumped into action urgently trying to secure a foster space and for someone who could collect him for us within hours…. because that’s all he had..!!
Thankfully 2 volunteers offered to help Odin straightway
Sue Hodgkins dropped everything to collect Odin and keep him until Michelle & Mark were able to organise things at home so they could take him.
We want to thank you all for helping us with Odin, you have literally saved his life and we are extremely grateful to you
After chilling with Sue for a few days, Odin joined Michelle and Mark in the Midlands who currently have Winnie.
We cannot say it was love at 1st sight between Winnie and Odin, he had experienced large changes in his life in a short period of time and Winnie was used to being the only girl in the house so there were a few moments of disruption BUT as we always say… keep the intros going, keep them short in the home with plenty of walks outside together
And they have definitely turned a corner and are even sleeping next to each other and ganging up together for a bark at the door should the Postie dare to post a letter
Odin needs a vet check this week and we will then discuss a date for his neuter.
So please welcome Odin onto his journey with us and we think there will be plenty of fun update’s about him and his new partner in crime Winnie
