A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Pammy is the quintessential bulldog: affectionate, gentle, and delightfully cheeky. She carries that signature stubborn streak with pride, often insisting on doing things her way but always with a twinkle in her eye and a wag of her tail. Beneath her comical sass lies a deeply loving soul who thrives on connection.
Pammy adores everyone she meets, from toddlers to grandparents, greeting each new friend with open-hearted enthusiasm. She’s especially fond of the gentlemen ever the flirt, she’ll bat her eyes and lean in for cuddles, winning hearts with ease. But her loyalty runs deeper than charm: Pammy is a devoted companion who seeks out closeness and comfort, always happiest when nestled beside her people.
Around other dogs, Pammy’s gentle nature shines just as brightly. She’s calm, respectful, and often acts as the soothing presence in the room, offering quiet companionship or playful nudges.
Behaviour:
Pammy is steadily learning her basic commands and making gentle progress she’s eager to please, especially when there’s a cuddle or bum scratch waiting as a reward. Her sweet nature means she’s not one for rough play; she much prefers quiet affection and close companionship.
Around children, Pammy is calm and respectful. She doesn’t jump up or overwhelm little ones, instead choosing to quietly share space and soak up gentle attention. Her soft energy makes her a lovely match for families seeking a dog who’s both affectionate and easy going.
Pammy is impressively unfazed by loud or unexpected noises. She’s experienced fireworks, doorbells, and other household sounds without distress, taking it all in stride with her usual bulldog composure. Her steady temperament and loving nature make her a comforting presence in any home.
Needs:
Pammy is looking for a calm, nurturing home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. While she’s already made beautiful progress, she’s still learning to trust the world around her and she needs a family who will gently guide her, celebrate her little victories, and offer consistent reassurance as she comes further out of her shell.
A secure garden is essential for Pammy. It gives her the freedom to explore, play, and build confidence in a safe, familiar space. Whether she’s pottering about in the sunshine or practicing her recall, having that outdoor area is key to her emotional and physical wellbeing.
Just as important is the presence of another friendly, well-balanced dog in the home. Pammy draws comfort and confidence from canine companionship she watches, learns, and mirrors their cues. A resident dog will not only help her feel more secure but also offer the kind of gentle social connection that brings out her playful, affectionate side.
Pammy’s ideal family will be patient, kind, and attuned to her needs. They’ll understand that progress may be quiet and gradual but that with love, routine, and the right environment, Pammy will continue to flourish into the joyful, loyal companion she’s meant to be.
Walk/exercise:
Pammy enjoys her walks, though she sometimes needs a little gentle encouragement to get going especially if it’s chilly or she’s feeling extra snuggly. Once she’s out and moving, she settles into a lovely rhythm, walking calmly and confidently whether she’s on her own or alongside the resident dog.
She’s beautifully polite in public, showing no reactivity to other dogs. Pammy is curious and friendly, often pausing to sniff and offer a soft hello before happily continuing on her way. Her interactions are calm and respectful, making her a pleasure to walk in busy or dog-populated areas.
Pammy’s ideal exercise routine is steady and low-pressure. She’s not a high-energy dog, but she does benefit from regular strolls that allow her to explore, build confidence, and enjoy the world at her own pace. She thrives with a consistent routine and a calm walking companion human or canine who understands her gentle nature and lets her take her time.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Pammy is a good girl.
Travel:
Pammy loves a car ride, she will sit happily in the back watching the world go by.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**
Things to be aware of:
Pammy will be adopted on a “to be spayed” contract, she will be recalled in January 2026 to be spayed, at a vet of the charities choosing, costs covered by the charity.
Pammy will not be rehomed with any entire dogs.
Pammy has a tight tail pocket which will need to be monitored closely and cleaned regularly to prevent infection.
Sometimes Pammy is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as she has the potential to barge and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Pammy’s foster family:
Our gorgeous and beautiful Pammy, she is extremely loving with her quirky and bubbly personality. In true bulldog style, she definitely has stubbornness and will barge her way through the doors to get where she needs to get to.
She will melt your heart when she pokes out her little tongue at you and looks at you with those big brown eyes.
All she longs for is one big cozy sofa and lots of squishy cuddles and kisses, oh and one more thing, get ready for those stinkies, she loves them!
Pammy’s adoption donation fee is £450 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.

Pammy’s story.
Please give the biggest welcome to little #Pammy, just 4 years old!
This sweet girl was found as a stray in the Midlands and ended up in the local pound. After serving her 7 days there, she’s finally safe with us
Yet another girl completely cast aside… she won’t be the last pound dog to come through our doors, but we’re so thankful we can offer her a safe haven
Huge thanks to Shelly in the Midlands for collecting Pammy and bringing her all the way down to the South East, where she’s now in foster with Anuradha, her partner Arun, and their lovely dog Loki
Pammy arrived in such a heartbreaking state — dirty, with almost no teeth , making eating so difficult. Her amazing foster mum is softening her food so she can manage, and already Pammy is showing what a gentle, sweet soul she is
She’ll be heading for a full health check this week, but for now she’s warm, safe, and finally able to rest. The dark days are behind her.
Let’s show Pammy all the love she deserves!
