A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Peaches is a beautiful, and charming young pup who is full of personality.
Peaches is a wonderfully affectionate girl, who thrives on all physical contact, she will happily initiate all fuss and cuddles.
Peaches may start of reserved and quiet, but she soon settles into her environment and her beautiful nature develops with a little patience and reassurance.
Behaviour:
Peaches has been learning her basic commands whilst in foster. This training will need to continue in her new home and will help strengthen the bond between her and her new family.
Peaches loves playing with toy’s but can be picky with how she shares them with. Any dogs in the home must not have any resource guarding issues.
Peaches absolutely loves all kinds of rough play and will initiate playing with the resident dogs. She is very good and will stop when instructed to.
Peaches is food aggressive so will need to be fed separate from any other dogs in the home.
Needs:
Peaches needs a calm, but active family environment, with a family who will keep her involved with all that is daily life.
Peaches is still a young pup and can be very excitable so she needs a patient family who can commit to her training and provide her boundaries.
A garden is a must for this playful girl.
A calm doggy companion to keep her company when her humans are away.
Walk/exercise:
Peaches loves her walks; she walks very well on lead and can walk alone and with company.
Peaches can be excitable when meeting unfamiliar dogs and may at first bark at them, however this is all excitement and is fine once she is familiar with them.
Peaches wears a harness the majority of the time but she has walked on a collar a couple of times. She is happy to have harness put on. No difficulties what so ever.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Peaches is a good girl.
Travel:
Peaches travels well in the car, because of this we would consider homes up to 4 hours away.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Sometimes Peaches is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Peaches has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Peaches came into foster with really patchy fur due to a grain and chicken allergy. This has improved massively with a hypoallergenic diet and regular medicated baths. This will need to be continued in her forever home.
Peaches will be going home on a spay contract, to be completed at a vet agreed with the charity, costs to be covered by the charity for a basic spay.
Additional information From Peache’s foster:
Peache’s really is a heart stealer, she has such a lovely nature with just the right amount of cheeky in there.
All she asks for is love and affection, if you’ve got a ball as well then well she’s in heaven!
The only thing high maintenance about her is her beauty regime, but what girl doesn’t love a bit of pampering! She’s a wee dream.
Peache’s adoption donation fee is £550 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Peaches story below,
We were recently asked if we could take Peaches after her owner sadly passed away
The owners sister took Peaches into her home but the resident dog just wouldn’t take to her, so its with the saddest heart, she has asked us to take Peaches into foster so she will always be safe and loved
Please welcome 11 month old Peaches to our Springboard family.
We want to thank Sarah Smith for collecting Peaches for us and for offering to foster this sweet young girl we are very grateful, thank you
Peaches has been introduced to the resident dogs, Helga and Heidi the Frenchies, and Holly the Jack Russell. Sarah is taking introductions very slowly, and so far, things are going well.
Peaches claws were so long and were curling under and digging in her paws, which meant she couldn’t walk comfortably, so Sarah nipped her to her dog groomer for a mini pedicure
Peaches will be having her vet check ASAP as she has a skin condition that clearly needs addressing sooner rather than later.
Please don’t try and apply for Peaches as she will need a period of assessment and her spay, but you can follow her journey on our Facebook Community Group
So please join us in welcoming this sweet little love of a girl on her springboard journey
Your new life starts now, Peaches, and we can’t wait to see you flourish
