Reggie is a genuinely lovely bulldog; He is inquisitive, playful and affectionate, with humans and his companion in foster.
His outgoing and friendly nature makes him the ideal companion to add to your family.
Behaviour:
Reggie will actively seek company and affection from his humans.
He is lively and active and loves to play with his toys.
Reggie doesn’t understand commands or games like fetch, but he is learning and can now sit and take treats gently.
Reggie is mouthy in play and will mouth hands and feet.
Reggie has an aversion to padded, or stuffed beds. He much prefers a solid plastic bed and blankets.
Reggie doesn’t like cats and will chase them.
Needs:
Reggie needs an active family, who want a companion to take along on their adventures.
He needs a family who will continue his training and help him reach his full potential.
A garden is a must, as he loves to play and loves the outdoors.
Reggie needs a companion, with a playful nature, who will keep him company when his humans are away.
Walk/exercise:
Walks are Reggie’s favourite time of the day; his inquisitive nature loves to sniff and explore.
Reggie is happy to walk alone and with company. He has attended Bulldog walks and walked very well as part of a larger pack.
Reggie isn’t phased meeting new dogs or people whilst out, he’s happy for them to initiate contact, but wont himself much prefers to explore the smells.
Toilet trained:
Reggie is a very good boy.
Travel:
Reggie travels vey well, he prefers to travel in the boot, but as long as he can lay down comfy, he is happy.
Because of this we will accept applications of up to 4 hours from his current location.
We recommend using a travel crate or seatbelt harness whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Reggie can struggle with separation anxiety if kept separated when you are in the home. He will bark until you return. However, settles very well when his humans leave the home.
Reggie is terrified of fireworks and will bark whilst they go off.
Sometimes Reggie is excited to play he is mouthy and doesn’t realise his size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as he has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.

Reggie is an incredible bulldog; his charm and character make him the idea new addition for any family. He still has a little to learn, but he is so eager to please and adores his humans. If you are looking for the ideal companion look no further that our beautiful Reggie.
A little of Reggie’s story below,
Please join us in welcoming the extremely handsome Reggie to our GBSR family!!
Reggie is a 2-year-old entire male and comes to us as sadly his family no longer have the time he needs or deserves.
We were contacted directly through our page by Reggie’s owners who desperately wanted to make sure he found a safe and loving forever home.
They were so worried about him falling into the wrong hands.
Just look at that face how could we resist him!
Reggie is in foster in the North West with Wayne and the gorgeous Babs the pug and Bleu (GBSR) but will be moving foster in the coming weeks to his full time foster.
Huge thank you to Wayne for stepping up and taking in Reggie in in the meantime. We appreciate Bleu is a delicate soul and doesn’t particularly appreciate sharing her home with a smelly male.
Reggie has sort of jumped (or should I say humped) into foster life rather excitedly and poor Wayne’s leg has borne the brunt of Reggie’s over exuberant introductions. But he has settled, and his anxiousness has calmed down.
Wayne is now seeing the calm and sweet side of Reggie; he is so nosey and has loved exploring his new surroundings. And loves to show you his favourite teddy too.
Welcome, Reggie we can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead for you and teddy
