A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Reggie is a larger-than-life character with a playful and outgoing nature.
Reggie loves his humans and will happily initiate when it’s time to play.
Reggie is the kind of boy who will thrive when kept busy, he is intelligent and will respond well to his human building a relationship and bond through training.
Behaviour:
Reggie absolutely adores children, like with his person he will seek them out for attention and play. However Reggie can be easily overstimulated by young children and all the noise that comes with them, this boy hasn’t a malicious bone in his body, he just had no idea how to react or behave around them.
Reggie understands basic commands and is responsive to his humans, especially if a treat is involved.
Reggie is a typical young bulldozer of a bulldog who is very loving and enjoys long snoozes and playing with his toys.
Reggie is a good boy, who will on occasion hump, if he thinks he’s not getting enough attention.
Reggie loves toys and can be toy possessive. He will need ongoing training in this area.
Needs:
Reggie needs a family who can continue with him on his journey with training and boundaries, to ensure he reaches his incredible potential.
Reggie needs a confident owner with knowledge in the breed and able to keep firm boundaries in place.
Reggie needs a calm home with older children. He a big and boisterous boy with so much still to learn, so not suitable to a home with young children.
A garden is a must for Reggie to play and explore in.
Walk/exercise:
Reggie likes to be on the go and exploring the environment. He can be excitable when approached by unfamiliar dogs, this may be too much to other breeds, but he holds no malice.
Reggie loves his walks; In general, Reggie walks well on his lead. He can get distracted easily but will continue when he is redirected.
Reggie wears a harness and has no problems having it put on.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Reggie is a good boy.
Travel:
Reggie can be a little excitable at first but soon settles down, Because of this we will consider applications of up to four hours away from his current location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Reggie can be a little anxious of new situations at first and this will be signified by heavy panting. He soon calms down with lots of reassurance.
Sometimes Reggie is excited to play but doesn’t realise his size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as he has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Reggie’s foster Mumma:
Reggie is the most beautiful, most attentive and loving companion you could have. He loves walks, playing in the garden, but above all he adores snuggles and kisses and is happy to offer you his paw, as a gesture to beg you to stay, and while away the hours with him tickling his chest
Reggie’s adoption donation fee is £450 and will need to be paid in full prior to Reggie going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Reggie’s story below,
Reggie
Please welcome the very handsome Reggie onto his Springboard journey
Reggie is 4 years old, entire and was another abandoned dog who found himself in holding kennels for 7 days.
Reggie is has come in with interdigital cysts and a few bald patches. He will be having his vet check in due course, but we don’t have any other concerns at present
We want to thank Tracey Aroney for travelling to collect Reggie for us. Tracey will be fostering Reggie in the North West and this will be her first fostering experience, so we are very grateful for her opening her home to Reggie, thank you and we hope you enjoy it
Reggie has met the resident EB, Bella who told him in no uncertain terms, humping is off the menu so Tracey is keeping engagement short and supervised until he can be calm around her. Its all new to him so anxiety humping isn’t unusual and usually ceases in a short period
He has met dogs outside the home, and he is a happy mixer and just a happy, playful boy in general
So let’s welcome Reggie into our family, and we look forward to seeing where your new life takes you in the care of GBSR UK
