Rolo – Adopted
Some happy endings remind us just how much a little love, patience and kindness can change a dog’s life, and today we are celebrating one very special boy.
Our gorgeous Rolo has found his forever home with the lovely Sue and Alan, and we couldn’t be happier for him!
Rolo joined the Springboard family following a heartbreaking relationship breakdown. At five years old, he suddenly found himself facing a whole new chapter, but thankfully, he didn’t have to face it alone.
Rolo was welcomed into foster by Claire and Scott in the North West, who opened their home and hearts to him when he needed them most. When he arrived, he had noticeable fur loss, which we suspected might be allergy-related, so his health and wellbeing were a priority while we worked to get him feeling his best.
A huge thank you to Claire and Scott for giving Rolo a safe place to land, surrounding him with love and helping him settle into foster life. Fostering makes such a difference to dogs like Rolo, giving them the chance to feel safe again while they wait for their perfect match. We are so grateful to you both for being part of his journey.
And then along came Sue and Alan!
They saw what a special boy Rolo is and were ready to offer him the loving home he deserves. We are absolutely delighted that Rolo has now begun his next chapter with them, surrounded by the people who will make him part of their family for life.
Rolo, your story may have started with an unexpected change, but it has led you to something wonderful. No more wondering what comes next, little man. Your very own family is here, and your future is looking brighter already.

Rolo’s Story
Please welcome the gorgeous #Rolo into the arms of the Springboard Family!
Rolo is an entire five-year-old boy who has been surrendered into our care following a relationship breakdown.
He was collected by Claire over the weekend and is now safely in foster with her and Scott in the North West. A huge thank you to you both for opening your home and your hearts to Rolo during his time of need.
Rolo has some noticeable fur loss, which we believe may be allergy-related. Of course, he will be booked in with our vets for a full health check shortly, where we can get to the bottom of what is going on and make sure he receives everything he needs.
For now, Rolo can concentrate on settling into foster life, receiving lots of love and learning that he is finally somewhere safe.
Welcome to the Springboard Family, Rolo. We promise you are safe now, and we will have you back to tip-top condition in no time.
Please note: Rolo has only just arrived in foster and his applications are not currently open. He needs time to settle, undergo his veterinary assessment and receive any necessary medical treatment before we can consider applications. Please do not attempt to apply for Rolo until his applications are officially opened. We will let you know when that time comes.
