Ted – Now Adopted

What can we say about Ted, he is a cheeky little puppy who answers back when he is told not to do something.

He loves people and the children in his foster home and is great around other dogs.

Because he is a puppy, he is still learning not to be too rough when he plays, but with the right guidance he will get there.

He loves his walks and is very happy to meet and greet other dogs and his grasp of commands are a work in progress but we wouldn’t expect anything less at his age.

Ted is lively, playful and confident, he loves a cuddle and has bags of character.

Dogs name: Ted

Age:  15 weeks old

Can live with children:  Yes

Can live with dogs:  Yes – but no entire male or females in the home.

Can live with cats:  Yes but will chase

Current location: Coalville, Leicestershire

Things to be aware of:

Ted will chase after the children if they are running and try to bite their feet so this needs addressing with boundaries and a firm NO.

Ted does not like the hoover, the broom or mop

Ted is being rehomed as unneutered so he will not be placed anywhere there is access to entire females or males.

We will organise his neuter at around 18 months old for which the charity will pay for at a mutually agreed vet.

The ideal home:

Ted is a great character who would benefit from being in a home with another dog that will show him the ropes and from who he can learn from. Ideally the resident dog(s) will be young enough to deal with a puppy but also able to tell him off when he gets too rough.

He is still a few having accidents in the home so there will need to be someone home for most of the day who can carry on his potty training.

He is great around children but he is still a mouthy puppy so children will need to be supervised.

Other comments:

Puppies are hard work and Ted is no exception so please only apply for Ted if you are able to give 100% commitment to provide him with boundaries and training.

Ted travels well so we will consider his new home up to 4 hours from his current location in the Midlands.

Teds adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to Ted going home which will also be subject to a home check.
