A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Violet is a 1 in a million lady!
Violets affectionate and playful nature makes her a pure joy to have as a family member. Her gentle personality, shines through especially around young children.
Behaviour:
Violet is a very laid back and easy-going lady.
Violet will shy away from rough play, she does love toys, her favourite being a watering can.
She loves all human interactions, she will play tug with adults and keep going as long as she can, however with children she will give them the toy to throw for her.
Violet has been learning her commands and doing very well, even when the bulldog deaf ear kicks in.
Needs:
Violet needs an active family environment, one where she will be kept involved in all that is daily life.
Violet can take or leave the company of other dogs, any dogs in the home must be laid-back and spayed/neutered.
A garden is a must, Violet adores the outdoors, she loves to interact with world.
Walk/exercise:
Violet loves her walks; she can start off pulling but will soon settle and walk to heal.
Violet is inquisitive and explores her environments, preferring that to interacting with other dogs.
Violet pays no mind to dogs whilst out, she is happy for them to approach her and she will ignore any showing any reactivity towards her.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Violet is a good girl.
Violet will go to the door to ask to go out, she doesn’t bark so this is something her forever family will have to keep an eye on.
Travel:
Violet is a good traveller, she happily settles on the back seat or the boot.
Because of this we will accept applications of up to 4 hours away from her current location.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
**TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE**
Things to be aware of:
Violet will be spayed 29/05/2025 and will be ready to go home after her 10-day post op check with our vet.
While Violet is a gentle soul its best to be aware that sometimes bulldogs are excited to play but doesn’t realise their size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as they can have the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information from Violet’s foster family:
As a fosterer you think you’re saving a dog, but you’re not they save you. Violet has been an inspirational beauty; from the minute we locked eyes we fell in love. There is nothing more soothing than running your hand along her silky fur. And when she leans back and stares into your eyes with such love and care you melt. She truly is a princess with a personality and intelligence that shines through.
Violet’s adoption donation fee is £450 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Violet’s story below,
Behind every Greeder is a sad, abused, used and dumped dog that looks just like Violet…..
Violet was found wandering the streets having not long finished nursing puppies.
Clearly from the state of her, she has been bred from multiple times, probably because of her colour which is neither exotic or rare or whatever other description the Greeders pluck out of the air to make unsuspecting owners think they are spending 5k plus on a well bred puppy from a loving home where her needs are put first…!!
This little love, came to us without a name or a microchip, but why bother with those when all you are is a breeding, money making machine … !!!
So please welcome the very beautiful ‘Violet’ into the arms of her Springboard family.
Violet has come to us from kennels having spent 7 days waiting for her owner to claim her. Thankfully they didn’t bother, and we were asked if we could take her
We want to thank Carina Hill for collecting Violet for us from the kennels yesterday, we very much appreciate you offering to take Violet into foster for us. – thank you very much
As you can imagine, Violet has had a lot of changes to deal with recently, but she had a very good first night with Carina, and today she is eating and exploring her new home and getting to know Buster the resident dog. They met yesterday and it was like they were old buddies
Violet will need a period of assessment and obviously she will have her vet check ASAP, she has sore eyes and possible a urine infection, but we will get her sorted
So, lets welcome Violet into the fold and we are looking forward to following her springboard journey to a better life where her days of breeding and abuse is over
