A BIT ABOUT ME

Personality:

Zeus is a very well behaved and playful boy; he has an affectionate nature to shower his family with love.

Zeus is a gentle giant, and his people are the centre of his world.

Zeus will seek the company of a calm dog in the home.

Behaviour:

Zeus doesn’t really play with toys; he can take them or leave them.

Zeus can become over excited when it comes to rough play so this hasn’t been encouraged in his foster home.

Zues knows his basic commands and is eager to please and learn.

Needs:

Zeus would suit an active family who can involve him in everything that is family daily life.

Zeus would benefit from having a laid-back dog with similarly playful nature for company, no entire females.

A garden to play in is a must for Zeus as he likes to spend his day playing and exploring.

Walk/exercise:

Zeus loves his walks and walks lovely with no issues; he is happy to walk alone and with company.

Zeus absolutely loves all attention from people he meets and will say hello to everyone.

Toilet trained:

Yes, Zues is a good boy

Travel:

Zeus is a great traveller, because of this we would consider homes up to four hours away

We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.

Things to be aware of:

Zeus isn’t a fan of the hoover and will try and bite the wire.

Sometimes Zeus is excited to play but doesn’t realise his size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Zeus has the potential to jump and knock children over.

Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.

Zeus is due to be neutered on the 6th March, therefore he will be ready to go home 10 days after pending sign off from the vet.

Additional information:

Zeus is an amazing young boy who will make the most wonderful addition to any family. He is well rounded and will suit many different home environments.

Zeus’s adoption donation fee is £400 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Zeus story below,

We were contacted by Zeus’ owners who were being stationed overseas as part of our British Armed Forces. They were heartbroken that they were unable to take him and wanted him safe and in a family environment similar to what he has been used to

Sarah Hinton had very kindly offered to foster for us, and yesterday she collected 5-year-old Zeus. It was a very emotional hand over, but the owners know he will always be looked after by his springboard family, so thank you for entrusting your precious boy to us.

Zeus has met resident dogs Reg & Mable and all seems to be going well and he had a settled first night

Zeus will need to have a vet check and we will discuss his neuter at this point.

So please lets welcome this little lad into his foster journey and new life with GBSR
