Belle – In foster – South East
Please join us in welcoming another precious soul into the GBSR family… beautiful Belle
Belle is a lovely three-year-old girl who has sadly been passed from pillar to post, including through the hands of people and so-called rescues who have failed to give her the care and stability she deserves.
Unsurprisingly, Belle is now suffering from anxiety. We can’t blame her—she hasn’t known what it feels like to be truly safe and settled for far too long. Thankfully, that all changes now. Belle is safe with GBSR, and we’ll give her all the time, patience and love she needs.
Belle was collected over the weekend by our wonderful volunteer Laura, who cared for her overnight before transporting her to her long-term foster home with Hazel in the South East.
A huge thank you to Laura for stepping in so quickly, and to Hazel for welcoming Belle into her home. This is Hazel’s first foster journey, and what an adorable little girl to begin it with! We appreciate you both so much.
Poor Belle arrived with fleas, double cherry eye and some redness and irritation on her legs. She has now been bathed and treated for the fleas, so we’re hopeful she’ll soon begin to feel more comfortable. We’ll get her to the vets as soon as possible to have her eyes and skin assessed and ensure she receives all the treatment she needs.
For now, Belle needs time to decompress, settle and learn that she is finally safe. Welcome to the family, beautiful girl—we’ve got you now.
Please note: Belle has only just arrived in foster care and has not yet completed her assessment. She is not currently available for adoption, so please do not submit an application for her at this stage.
Welcome to the Springboard Family, Belle.
For now, please join us in welcoming this beautiful little lady to the Geordie Bullies family and wishing her the very best as she begins this new chapter.
