Personality:
Skyla is a very sociable dog who loves strokes and cuddles. Like many Bulldogs, she can be a bit stubborn, she will do as you ask … but in her own time.
She loves playing with resident children (aged 7 & 8) and gets excitable and bouncy.
Things to be Aware of:
Skyla wasn’t house trained when she came to us and her foster family have been working on this. She still has the odd accident, so she will need continued training.
The Ideal Family:
This little girl loves being around children and thrives in a family environment where she is not left for long periods. She doesn’t need long walks as she tires quite easily but she loves fuss and attention, so a loving family is essential for her.
Other comments:
Skyla was starved before coming into rescue and this has made her food aggressive when given treats or fed near another dog, so if she is homed with another dog, the new owner needs to be aware to feed separately and not give treats out of hand.
Skyla is currently in foster with a resident dog, so she can be rehomed with another dog. She can be left for up to 4 hours and she travels well.
