Tia – Now Adopted
Tia is a very soft, loving, timid and often stubborn little girl who would happily lay down with her human all day if she could.
When she is out, Tia isn’t overly bothered about meeting other dogs but when she does, she is fine around them. She isn’t very keen on walking and can lack a bit of confidence.
Tia understands commands such as sit, paw and stay. She has toys in her foster home but doesn’t really play with them and she doesn’t like rough play.
Dogs name: Tia
Age: 5 Years old
Can live with children: Yes
Can live with dogs: Yes
Can live with cats: Untested
Current location: North Hampshire
Things to be aware of:
Tia has had BOAS surgery whilst in the care if the charity and her foster family are in the process of extending her walks to get her fitness back.
The ideal home:
Tia is shy so we feel a calm home would be ideal for her. She is living with older children (11 & 15) in her foster home and whilst there is no restriction on the ages of any resident children in her new home, they would need to be dog savyy and understand she can be nervous and wouldn’t cope with a hectic noisy environment.
Tia can live with a dog, but they will need to be very friendly with no dominance
Other comments:
Tia was attacked and bullied by a French bulldog in her previous home, which is why, if she is rehomed with another dog, they must be very friendly otherwise she will retreat into her shell.
She really is a lovely, gentle girl who needs to be made to feel secure in a loving home.
Tia is house trained; she doesn’t use a crate and can be left for a maximum of 4 hours. She has been spayed and she has made a full recovery from her BOAS surgery.
As Tia is a good traveller, we will consider a new home up to 4 hours from her current location in Farnborough.
If you have any questions, please ask Louise Boaler foster mum to Tia.
Tia’s adoption fee is £300 and will need to be paid in full prior to xx going home which will also be subject to a home check.
