Harry – Now Adopted!
Harry is Home!
We are very pleased to announce Harry has gone home!
He was collected by his new family Tracy and Stephen and wasted no time in getting to know his new surroundings. He enjoyed a little adventure walk discovering his new home territory.
Harry soon had Tracy and Stephen trained in all thing’s Harry and it was like he had been theirs all along.
So please join us in congratulating Tracy and Stephen on their gorgeous new addition.
We wish you a lifetime of endless fun and happiness together and look forward to sharing the next chapter of your life with you.
Be happy beautiful boy, you are set for a wonderful lifetime of unconditional love and happily ever after.

A little of Harry’s story below,
Harry is a fun-loving boy who loves playing ball and receiving lots of fuss and cuddles from his foster family. He shows no possessiveness when playing with toys and he has a well-developed Deaf Ear…! Because of this, Harry is exercised on a long lead.

Age: 2 Years 1 month
Can live with children: Yes, dog savvy children aged 8 years and above
Can live with dogs: Yes
Can live with cats: No, will chase
Current location: Blyth, Northumberland
Things to be aware of:
Harry was a ‘humper’ when he came into foster. This was because of over stimulation (as he hadn’t experienced a ‘normal’ life before coming into foster) and being entire.
Harry has been neutered now and this has helped massively with his urge to hump, he just needs help to break the habit.
The ideal home:
Harry is an active boy and enjoys having at least 1 walk a day so we are looking for an equally active home where he will be included in activities.
Any children in the home will need to be aged 8 years and above and be dog savvy as Harry will jump up and try to hump if he gets over excited.
Harry can be rehomed with an equally happy dog who is used to other dogs coming into the home.
Other comments:
Harry came to us having spent most of his life in a crate.
He had had little socialisation and hadn’t been toilet trained but he will only have an accident on rare occasions now.
His foster family have 2 other dogs and whilst initially he only communicated through trying to hump, he has now calmed right down and is developing into a well-adjusted boy, but his new family will need to understand, he is a work in progress.
He will still hump if he gets over stimulated / excited, but we anticipate this behaviour will stop over time with the right approach.
