Can be homed with children: YES
Can be homed with cats: Untested
Bert is generally laid back although he has his ‘mad moments’ when will play and run around. He isn’t keen on rough play; but he loves playing ‘tug of war’ and he can be cheeky by offering you a toy then running off with it. He will sit and give you a paw and he will give you cuddles if he is in the right mood otherwise, he will ignore you. He is good on his walks and is happy to be bathed and groomed.
Things to be Aware of:
Bert has been diagnosed with K9 Autism which makes him a very special boy.
The Ideal Family:
A dog free, calm family where there are people around for most of the day as he loves attention.
Bert has been living with a young family and he is great with the children. There is a resident dog but because of his K9 Autism, Bert can change moods with another dog, so we have decided its fairer for him to go to a dog free home.
**Being the only dog in the home is a permanent situation that cannot be changed**
There is no restriction on the ages of the children Bert can be rehomed with and he will quite happily take himself off once he has had enough.
Bert is on a Gluten free diet, so he will need to be kept on his current food which is AVA Breed Health Bulldog
Bert is happy to be left for up to 4 hours and he travels well, so ideally, he will be rehomed no-more than 4 hours from his current location.
If you have any questions, please ask his foster, Ryan Buz
His adoption fee is £350 and will need to be paid in full prior to Bert going home which will also be subject to a home check.

Please note, if you don’t meet his criteria you won’t be considered to adopt him.
