Bobbi & Bruce now adopted

Bobbi is a quirky boy who loves human contact but is equally happy in his own space nuzzling on his ball. He loves the car but is not a fan of walking and he isn’t overly active in the home either. Bobbi find dogs outside overwhelming and will get anxious if they approach too close and will bark

Bruce loves going on walks and currently has a 15-minute walk twice a day. He is generally fine with other dogs approaching unless Bobbi is with him. Bobbi’s anxiety will start Bruce off barking.

They both adore a fuss and attention.

Bobbi and Bruce are very happy boys and will always greet you with a wiggle and wag.

Dogs name: Bobbi & Bruce

Age:  Bobbi is 7 years, 4 months, Bruce is 10 years 2 months

Can live with children:  Yes aged 16 years and over

Can live with dogs: No

Can live with cats:  No

Current location:  Newcastle, Tyne & Wear

Things to be aware of:

Bruce has a high degree of deafness and as such his foster family are starting to sign to him and use vibration to get his attention. He doesn’t like being startled and for this reason we feel any children in the home should be aged 16 years and over.

The boys spend a lot of time together and they will have the odd spat with each other, but this is very controllable and usually bluster.

The ideal home:

Bobbi and Bruce will be very happy in a home where they can snooze the day away. As Bobbi isn’t a massive lover of walks, it would be lovely for their new home to have a nice secure garden for them to mooch about in. Bruce is happy with a 15-minute stroll twice a day do we are not looking for a high energy home, just somewhere calm where they can be their new owners ‘world’.

 Other comments:

These boys took a little while to settle into their foster home and they might be the same with a new family but with a bit of time and routine, they will make lovely companions.

Both boys are toilet trained and travel well, so we are looking for a new home for them up to 4 hours from their current location.

Bobbi and Bruce’s adoption donation fee is £300 and will need to be paid in full prior to them going home which will also be subject to a home check.
