Chloe – Now Adopted
Chloe is a really lovely, stubborn, cheeky, relaxed, affectionate and lazy girl who prefers a slower pace of life and quite frankly, would lay in her bed all day if she was allowed.
She chooses not to understand commands unless there is food involved, in which case she can suddenly understand the word sit and shows no interest in toys unless its her quacking Ducky.
As she isn’t a lover of walking, she makes it difficult to put her harness on by laying as flat as she can on the floor or bed and then once she is out, she likes to walk slowly in a zig zag style.
Whilst she cannot live with other dogs, she is mainly chilled out about them outside the home and is quite happy to meet and greet but can lunge on occasion.

Can live with cats: Not tested but unlikely
Current location: Hartlepool, County Durham
Things to be aware of:
Chloe will wet on the floor overnight so her foster mum puts puppy pads down which works well and her foster mum is trying to teach her not to snatch when she has a treat …. This is a work in progress.
The ideal home:
Ideally, Chloe will be rehomed where there is someone around for most of the day. She can be around children, but they would need to be dog savvy and old enough to understand that she likes her bed and her own space, and she isn’t the playful type or energetic kind of family dog. And this girl loves lounging around outside so she will need a nice secure garden to call her own.
Other comments:
Chloe is a very characterful girl who her foster mum describes as comical, sassy, loving and lazy and will she make a lovely companion. She is very relaxed in the car so we will consider her new home up to 4 hours from her current location in Hartlepool.
Chloe’s adoption donation fee is £300 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check.
