Chunky – Now Adopted
Chunky is a lovely little boy who is super friendly to everyone.
He adores having human contact and is a playful boy with people and other dogs.
He has perfected the English Bulldog ‘Deaf Ear’ when it comes to recall so he has not been allowed off his lead on walks, but he is happy on an extending lead.
Chunky will give you his paw on his own terms and if you ask him to ‘leave’…. he will do so for a moment before ignoring you completely, let just say this gorgeous boy is a work in progress..

Can live with children: Yes aged 6 years and over
Can live with dogs: Yes with a friendly playful spayed female dog
Can live with cats: Untested
Current location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Things to be aware of:
He can get a bit over excited and mouthy during rough play so anyone playing with him will need to be mindful of this.
The ideal home:
Chunky loves being in the middle of the action so it would be really nice if he was rehomed where he will get lots of interaction and have adventures. He has lived with children before with no problems.
Other comments:
Chunky is a lovely little boy who is full of character. He came into foster after he was bullied by another male dog in the family. Chunky is a submissive boy so we will only consider homes with resident female dogs if they are not dominant.
Chunky is toilet and crate trained, he has been neutered and he loves travelling so we will consider a perfect home for him up to 4 hours from his current location in Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Chunky’s adoption fee is £400 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.
