Daisy – Adopted
We have some wonderful news to share… Daisy is home!
Daisy sadly found herself in our care after being found wandering the streets, all alone, with no food or water during the July heatwave. She completed her seven-day hold in the kennels, but heartbreakingly, nobody came forward to claim her.
Thankfully, the kennels reached out to us for help, and from that moment on, Daisy’s journey towards a brighter future began.
Daisy was first welcomed by Carina, her GBSR boy Woody and their family, who gave her the time, love and reassurance she needed to decompress and begin to trust humans again. After such an uncertain start, she finally had a safe place to rest and discover that life could be kind.
Next, Daisy joined Debbie and her family, who supported her through her surgeries and stayed by her side throughout her journey towards finding her forever home. Along the way, she even enjoyed a little holiday with Alison!
We would like to say a huge thank you to Carina, Debbie and Alison for all the love, care and kindness they showed Daisy during her time in foster. Each of you played a special part in her journey, and we will always be grateful for everything you have done to help her reach this happy ending.
Everyone who met Daisy during her time in foster fell in love with her. Her sweet, loving nature shines through, and she deserved nothing less than a forever home where she would be cherished, safe and loved, never having to face life on the streets again.
And then came Claire and James.
Over the weekend, Daisy was collected by her new family, and it was love at first sight! She has settled beautifully into her new home and has already started showing off her cheeky little personality. It sounds very much like Daisy has found her people, and we couldn’t be happier for her.
Please join us in congratulating Claire, James, Gabe and Ted on welcoming Daisy into their family. We wish you all a lifetime of love, laughter, happiness and wonderful adventures together.
From a lonely girl found wandering the streets in the summer heat to a much-loved member of her very own family, Daisy’s journey is a reminder of just how much a little kindness can change a life.
Happy forever after, beautiful Daisy. You were always worth finding, and now you are finally home.
Daisy’s Story
Please join us in welcoming Daisy to the Geordie Bullies family.
Sadly, Daisy found herself wandering the streets all alone during this hot weather, with no food or water to keep her going.
Thankfully, she was found and taken to her local kennels to complete the standard 7-day stray hold. As expected, nobody came forward to claim her.
We work closely with kennels across the country, so as soon as we received the call about Daisy, we began making arrangements to bring her into our care.
On Wednesday, once her stray hold had ended, Daisy was collected by Carina and her husband and taken to their home, where she met her new foster siblings, GBSR boy Woody and Elsie.
Introductions have been taken slowly and carefully to avoid overwhelming Daisy, and so far she has settled in beautifully. She has had no problems sharing her space with Woody and Elsie, and is already beginning to relax in her new surroundings.
With plenty of love, patience and time, we’re sure Daisy’s cheeky bulldog personality will soon begin to shine through.
You’re safe now, Daisy, and you’ll never have to face life on the streets again.
Please note that Daisy has only just arrived in foster and is not yet available for adoption. Applications are not open at this time, so please don’t submit an application just yet. We will share Daisy’s full adoption statement and poster once she has completed her assessment period.
