George & Betty – In Foster – South East

Please join us in welcoming George and Betty into the GBSR family.

These beautiful Bulldogs have sadly found themselves needing our help due to their family’s personal circumstances. It is clear that they have been very much loved, and we ask that everyone is kind and understanding. Circumstances can change unexpectedly, and negative or judgemental comments will not be tolerated.

George and Betty are both currently in good condition. Betty is spayed, and we will be arranging veterinary checks for them both over the coming days to make sure they are healthy, comfortable and have everything they need.

What has really touched us is just how much these two adore each other. They are incredibly loving and are often found snuggled up together, clearly taking comfort and reassurance from having each other by their side. After such a big change in their lives, having their best friend with them will make all the difference as they begin to settle into foster care.

They are now safely in foster with the lovely Hazel and her family in the South East. A huge thank you to Hazel for jumping into action and heading out early over the weekend to collect them. We are incredibly grateful to Hazel and her family for opening their home and giving George and Betty somewhere safe, warm and loving to begin this next chapter.

For now, we simply want these two to have the time they need to settle, relax and feel safe again. Their applications are not open at this stage, so please don’t apply just yet. They need to complete their assessments and we want to get to know them properly before we start looking for their forever home.

Please give George and Betty a very warm GBSR welcome and follow their journey with us. We can’t wait to see these two beautiful souls blossom in foster care.
