Spike – Now Adopted
Spike is a fabulous young dog who has flourished in foster since he has had his BOAS surgery. He is a playful boy and loves being around the resident dog Masie and skin brother.
He is great meeting other dogs on his walks, and he can follow basic commands – when it takes his fancy! and he doesn’t have any possession issues with toys or food etc.
Spike is a cuddler and an ear kisser, he doesn’t play rough and is very affectionate.

Things to be aware of:
Spike is being rehomed as entire and we will arrange for his neuter when he is around 18 months old. This will be paid for by the charity and be performed at a mutually agreed vet.
Spike is a chewer so will need crating when left and he needs lots of chew toys.
The ideal home:
Spike is great around other dogs, so we are happy for him to be rehomed with at least 1 other dog – but NO entire males or females.
He loves human company so we are looking for a family where Spike will not be left for long periods of time.
Spike is still entire and as such he can jump up and be a bit humpy so ideally any children in his new family will need to be dog savvy and obviously any young children will need to be supervised. This behaviour can be managed with ongoing boundaries, and neutering will probably help.
Other comments:
Spike really is a smashing boy who steal the hearts of those that meet him. He has had the odd accident in the home but this is very rare.
Sadly he isn’t a lover of car journeys so we are looking for his new home to be within 2 hours of his current location.
Spike’s adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.
