Vinnie- Now Adopted!
Vinnie
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Vinnie has found his forever home with Georgia and her partner Chas and their GBSR boy Tank
Sadly, their beautiful GBSR boy, Grandpa, aka Diesel, went over the Rainbow Bridge in January at the grand age of 15, closely followed by their other boy Stevie
Georgia and Chas have experienced so much heartbreak recently, and Tank has been lost without his fur brothers but we truly believe that Grandpa and Stevie sent Vinnie to heal your broken hearts. Dark clouds and sadness are now replaced with light and happiness, and Tank has a new BFF to share life with again
On first introductions, Vinnie and Tank have been great and have been sussing each other out and we are sure it won’t be long before they are BFF’s
Vinnie has settled in perfectly and is now busy training his new servants
Georgia and Chas have completely fallen for all of Vinnie’s charms
A massive thank you to Vinnie’s amazing foster mum Olivia for fostering Vinnie and preparing him for his forever home. Congratulations on a fabulous first foster!! You have been a fantastic foster mum to Vinnie, and we will be forever grateful to you
So please join us in congratulating Georgia and Chas on their beautiful boy. We look forward to sharing the next chapter of your lives with you
So Vinnie … now your forever adventures begin. Have a wonderful life in your new home, sweetheart with your doting mummy and daddy and your new BFF Tank. We can’t wait to see what antics you both get up to together

A BIT ABOUT ME
Personality:
Vinnie is a typical energetic, inquisitive, and affectionate bulldog puppy.
Vinnie is extremely affectionate towards his humans and will seek out cuddles and attention.
Vinnie is doing very well learning his big boy manners, he has mastered sit and is learning paw. He is very eager to learn.
Behaviour:
Vinnie loves playing with toys and doesn’t show any signs of resource guarding.
Vinnie absolutely loves all kinds of rough play and will initiate playing with his humans. He is very good and will stop when instructed to.
Vinnie loves being stroked and cuddled he laps up attention from anyone he meets.
Needs:
Vinnie would suit an active family, who will keep him involved with all that is daily family life.
Vinnie is still a young pup and can be very excitable so he needs a patient family who can commit to his training and provide him boundaries.
Vinnie is a high energy playful boy; he would benefit from having a calm and laid-back dog in the home. Any female dog in the home must be spayed as Vinnie is still too young to be neutered.
A garden is a must as this boy loves to explore and enjoys the outdoors.
Walk/exercise:
Vinnie loves going on walks, he does pull on the lead and likes to be in front so will need ongoing training in this area.
Vinnie is happy and excited to meet other dogs on a walk and will try and initiate play with them. He is a very friendly puppy.
Vinnie absolutely loves all attention from people he meets and will say hello to everyone.
Toilet trained:
Yes, Vinnie is a good boy.
Travel:
Vinnie travels well and is very relaxed, because of this we will consider applications up to 4 hours away from his foster home.
We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs.
Things to be aware of:
Vinnie will be neutered at around 18 months old and as such he will be going home on a “to be neutered” contract which will be undertaken at a vet of our choice with costs covered by the charity.
Sometimes Vinnie is excited to play but doesn’t realise his size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Vinnie has the potential to jump and knock children over.
Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted.
Additional information:
Vinnie is a typical young bulldog puppy with lots of love to give.
Vinnie will make the best addition to any family ready and able to put in the time he needs to reach his full potential.
Vinnie’s adoption donation fee is £550 and will need to be paid in full prior to going home which will also be subject to a home check.

A little of Vinnie’s story below,
Meet 9 month old Vinnie who has joined our Springboard family through no fault of his own.
This is a very sad surrender, so no judgement, please
Sadly, Vinnies owners health has declined, and they can no longer care for him so they contacted us and asked for our help.
How could we refuse… Our foster Olivia very kindly collected Vinnie for us yesterday evening.
Vinnie is a very happy boy who looks to be in great health. He is a gorgeous friendly lad who is full of sass and affection
He had a settled first night, and Olivia is taking introductions to her EB Louis slowly.
Thank you, Olivia, for collecting Vinnie and offering him a home with you and your family. We are very thankful and appreciate you for coming forward
Vinnie will undergo a period of assessment and will be seeing the vet in due course for a health check.
So please let’s welcome Vinnie into his Springboard family
Welcome, sweet boy. Your Springboard journey starts here, and we look forward to seeing all your adventures with your foster family
