A little of Lola’s story below,
Lola is a very loving Bulldog that adores any kind of fuss and attention. She isn’t overly playful but will play with her ball and isn’t interested in any rough play.
She really enjoys her walks but can be vocal if she see’s another dog and will try to lunge if they come to close. Because of this she is only lead walked.
Like many Bulldogs she has a few things she is scared of, namely the dishwasher door being opened and being stepped over..! And she isn’t a lover of noisy situations and will take herself off to somewhere quiet.
Dogs name: Lola
Age: 4 years, 10 months

Can live with dogs: No
Can live with cats: No

Things to be aware of:
Lola will need to be spayed once she has been rehomed. This will be undertaken at a vet of our choosing and the cost of which will be covered by the charity
The ideal home:
A calm home would be best for Lola where she can have a lot of attention all for herself and be made to feel safe and loved.
She has been around teenagers and younger children on occasion whilst in foster and she has really enjoyed the attention. Any children in the home would need to old enough to understand when Lola wants her own space and peace and quiet.
Other comments:
Lola has been described by her foster mum as a very calm dog who loves everyone she meets. She will need an owner that appreciates she is dog reactive albeit not with every dog, and she has come on leaps and bounds in foster, but she will, on a rare occasion also lunge at a bus or lorry if it scares her.
This shouldn’t put anyone off applying for this gorgeous girl as with time, patience and training, her behaviour in these areas is improving well.
Lola travels well and we will consider a new home for her up to 4 hours form her current location on South Yorkshire.
