Betti – In foster- South East

Please welcome the beautiful Miss Betti to our GBSR family.

Betti is a terribly sad surrender, her owner loves her dearly and is heartbroken having to give her up so please no judgment.

We were contacted a little over a week ago by Betti’s owner asking us for help. The lady’s husband sadly passed away at the beginning of the year and due to poor health, herself she couldn’t give Betti the care she needs, and sadly hasn’t been able to walk her since January.

The lady had been in contact with another Bulldog charity for several months waiting for them to give her the help she so desperately needed. But after being messed about by them she reached out to us, as she could see that the condition of Betti’s eyes is deteriorating.

Betti is a 5year-old, spayed female, as you can see from the photos she is suffering from terrible dry eye. So, we will be booking her in with our eye specialist in Solihull as soon as possible, as we fear she may need Parotid transposition surgery like #Sarge did earlier this year.

Huge thank you to Liam for collecting Betti and bringing her home to Emily and your children, not forgetting Betti’s new foster fur brother, the handsome Sully who is helping her settle in. She has already enjoyed her first walk and is proving to be the sweetest girl.

When she is ready for adoption, Betti’s poster will be shared across our social media and our website.

Welcome to your GBSR family Betti, we look forward to seeing you bloom.
