Blue – Now Adopted

Blue is a very friendly and loving young boy who loves being out meeting people and other dogs. He is a boisterous puppy who will go around knocking things over and is still a little mouthy. This is typical puppy behaviour which he is indulging in now he is recovered from his BOAS surgery. He enjoys playing with any toy and especially loves tug of war. And his most favourite thing in the world is having kisses and cuddles.

Blue is used to having people around for most of the day and very much enjoys a lot of human interaction and is responding well to training and can now sit and give his paw. His recall is work in progress but is pretty good.

Dogs name:  Blue

Age:  11 months

Can live with children:  Yes aged 9 years and over

Can live with dogs:  Yes – no entire males or females

Can live with cats:  Untested

Current location:  Hull, East Yorkshire

Things to be aware of:

Blue will be recalled for his neuter in about 6 / 7 months which the charity will cover the cost of and will be performed at a mutually agreed vet.

Because he is being rehomed entire, Blue cannot be placed where an entire female or male dog.

Blue has a little separation anxiety so we are looking for a home where he will not be left for long periods and ideally where there is someone home for most of the day.

Blue can jump very high and this is an area that he will definitely require more training with.

The ideal home:

Blue would be ideally placed with an active dog savvy family who will take him on adventures and in return he will make a lovely companion. He is great around children but still a bouncy puppy so any visiting young children will need to be supervised.

He has been fantastic with the neutered female Bulldog in his foster home so a similar situation would be perfect for him.

Blue’s new family will need to keep up with the training as he is a young boisterous boy.

Other comments:

What a fabulous young dog Blue is. He has really flourished in his foster home, and it’s been a pleasure watching him become the healthy happy dog he is today.

Blue travels well so we will consider a new home up to 4 hours from his current location.

Blues adoption donation fee is £500 and will need to be paid in full prior to him going home which will also be subject to a home check.
