Elsa – Now Adopted

Elsa is a very lovable and funny little girl who thrives on human attention and contact. She is very excitable and is described by her foster mum as ‘puppy like’.
Elsa has lived with a large pack of dogs in foster and loves a bit of rough play, she can be guilty of getting carried away but responds well when another dog puts her in her place. She loves toys and plays well.
Elsa does understand some commands such as sit, down, no and come. She does get very excited when you praise her and has the best bum wiggle!
Elsa will happily allow you to carry out her cares such as bathing, nails clipping and general cleaning.

Things to be aware of:

Elsa can be nervous of unfamiliar noises and these can unnerve her and make her bark.
She enjoys walks and wears a harness but she can get excited when on the lead so this requires further work. Her recall is good around the house and garden but not been tested out of the house.
Elsa has lived with a pack of dogs in foster and has done well but initially she was very unsure and did grumble. She will require a strong pack leader and she will continue to flourish.
Elsa has a very tight tail that requires cleaning. Her foster mum uses silver colloidal spray on it.

The ideal home:

Elsa is such a lovable character and she is very funny with her garden bird patrol! She responded well to training and this will need to be continued in her new home.
Elsa can be nervous of loud noises and can get over excited so with this in mind we are rehoming her with children over 6 as they will have a better understanding of how to keep her calm when she’s getting over excited and playful .
Elsa needs to be crated when alone as she may chew if the mood takes her .

Other comments:

Elsa has been a pleasure in foster she has made quite the impression on her foster family. She would suit someone who is around in the day as she loves company and this would allow for ongoing training. Elsa has used a crate in foster.

Elsa is spayed.

Elsa is mostly toilet trained, just the odd accident in her crate at night. She travels well and we will consider a new home for her up to 4 hours from her current location in Neath.

If you have any questions, please ask Tracy Barrett foster mum to Elsa.
