Finley – Now Adopted
Finley is described by his foster family as a wonderful laid back gentleman. He is a loving boy who just loves a cuddle from his humans.
Finley wears a harness to walk and loves a walk both on and off the lead.
He walks well in a pack but in honesty he doesn’t need much walking due to his age. 2 short walks per day would suffice. Finley has good recall.
Finley shows no reaction to any other animals and is a very mild mannered boy.
Finley knows basic commands such as sit and leave.
Finley’s favourite toys are chew toys, he really loves a good chew!
Finleys loves being cleaned and doesn’t mind a bath at all.

Things to be aware of:
Finley loves his food and can be a tad on the greedy side! He is a bit of a big boy so we are watching his food intake and weight so we can protect his joints now he’s getting older.
Though Finley loves to play, rough play is not for him so awareness must be shown.
Finley is excellent with children and behaves impeccably but children in the home must be able to show awareness that he cannot overdo things.
Finley has dry eyes and will require drops which cost a minimal amount. He requires a sensitive diet as his skin can be affected. His ears require regular cleaning to ensure they don’t become sore.
The ideal home:
Finley is an older gentleman and requires a lovely quiet retirement home for him to live his life in.
A home where someone is around for company would be ideal.
He could live with another dog but not one where he will overdo it. An older laid back dog would be ideal.
Other comments:
Finley has been a pleasure in foster and this fine gentleman just needs a home to call his very own.
Finley is toilet trained and travels well, we will consider a new home for him up to 4 hours from his current location in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Finley’s adoption fee is £200 and will need to be paid in full prior to going home which will also be subject to a home check.
